My family and I stayed at the Tribe the first week of July. It was a wonderful stay in a stylish and posh hotel. Here are a few observations and tips for this time of year: 1. Amenities: The entire hotel is decorated in modern African chic. Our room was beautifully appointed with 2 very comfortable beds, large flat panel... More

Stayed for the night at The Tribe, room was nice. Very clean. Had trouble controlling the aircon though...... And wondered about the lack of turn down service??? Great bath and toiletry products, nice mood lighting. We were pleasantly surprised to have received an upgrade.....thank you Tribe Had also booked a treatment at the Kaya Spa. Very professional and thoughtful staff... More

I recently stayed at the Tribe for a night in transit to a safari. This is a beautifully designed hotel in a residential area outside of Nairobi. The architects and designers really pulled out all the stops when designing this hotel because it is really beautiful. Excellent security, friendly staff, good food options, and nicely appointed rooms. It is adjacent... More

Modern, nice hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Food in main restaurant delicious. One of the best places in Kenya. Only problem is that it is far from main tourist attractions.

This is a fabulous hotel in Gigiri area (diplomatic zone) of Nairobi. About 45-60 min from Nairobi airport (Jomo Kenyatta Airport) but with Nairobi traffic horrors, don't be surprised it takes a LOT longer. If you are staying more than one night in Nairobi, this is the place to be. First and foremost, it is safe, attached to a boutique... More

Would stay here again in an instant! The village market is safe nd in the compound. I only wish more things were safe to walk to. Near the embassy and the UN. Very clean, contemporary and the staff service exceeded expectations.

My first visit to Nairobi, the Tribe Hotel was delightful. Good location (near US Embassy, UNEP, ICRAF). It bills itself as a "designer" hotel and it lives up to that aspiration. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful (obviously well trained and managed). I had an issue with the AC one night and it was fixed while I ate breakfast... More

The Tribe is a wonderful hotel in a nice area of Nairobi. The hotel is beatifully decorated with a very modern decor keeping some African art. As a lot of reviews say, it has the feeling of a boutique hotel. The swimming pool is very nice and the hotel has many hidden corners to read and enjoy. I stayed in... More

Tribe Hotel is classy but not tacky, of global quality but African nature, with wonderful staff, great food, much light and good small facilities. It's considered a 'boutique hotel' but really is more of a larger scale boutique establishment. That said, one never feels overwhelmed by the crowd or feels like an anonymous number in a giant turnover roulette of... More

I love this hotel! By far the best one that I've ever seen in my life! Simply amazing for a Boutique hotel! Interior design will blow your mind! Placed in a quiet and safe area.
