5 of 5 stars Reviewed today NEW

We stayed at the Wildebeest Eco Camp twice in one trip at the end of January for our honeymoon. It was the perfect haven away from the bustling city where you could rest surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. Most importantly, we found the staff extremely kind and helpful. We arrived at 5am, and despite the kitchen not opening till 7am,... More

We were recommended the Wildebeest Eco Camp by several groups of friends frm he UK and from Kenya who had stayed at different times. Everyone said how lovely it was and we weren't disappointed! The staff were super helpful before we even arrived and we were blown away by their welcome when we got there. The range of facilities was... More

Our family loves staying at the Wildebeest Camp. The staff make sure we are welcomed and they are always ready to help or serve with a smile. The owners have created a camp with a fantastic atmosphere where we feel safe, surrounded by a beautiful garden and always meeting interesting travellers. The accommodation and wonderful and very good value for... More

If you have to go to Nairobi, this is a good place to stay. Hotel prices are exorbitant for what you get in Nairobi. Kenyans would do well stop ripping of their tourists - sooner or later we will look for greener pastures, and there are many great African destinations. Overall, the quality of food and lodging in Nairobi is... More

The Wildebeest Eco camp is a wonderful and surprising haven in an otherwise hectic Nairobi. We live in Kenya and make regular visits to the city and we will never stay anywhere else!!! We have been made to feel so welcome and our children love it here. The owners and their well trained staff have gone out of their way... More

Stumbled across this place on trip advisor when trying to find a cheap place to stay in Nairobi. Yes it's far out from Central Nairobi and the taxi ride is pricey, but we were in town to see the elephants and giraffe which are all nearby. We were pleasantly surprised by the surroundings given the price. We opted for a... More

Very nice tents, pleasant grounds nice folks that run it as well. But the nicest thing that happened to us happened after we checked out. After leaving the hotel I realized that I have left some money behind in the room. We called the hotel and the money was returned to use in full without issue. I really appreciated the... More

We went here on a random find and was not disappointed! The place was lovely, stylish and very reasonable price. You are not too far away from anywhere. My only moan about the place was the service for food, you could wait a long time for your order to arrive but that has not affected my rating of the place.

Thank you so much for taking the time to let everyone know what an oasis our camp is. We have worked hard over the last 3 years to make this camp the haven that it is. I am sorry that you were disappointed with our food service. This is something that we are constantly working on with our team. We... More

The Camp is good. But, if you check in the night and come across Joanne Gakii (has to be sent for training for sure)you are in TROUBLE. The Askari(Watchman) also thinks, he is doing you a favor to let you park. Habanas Ndunda is an amazing person. Very helpful fellow. The first night we had to pick our own luggage(... More

Thank you for your feedback and we are pleased to hear that you thought the camp was good quality and value. We are sorry that you feel that the performance of some of our staff was not to a good standard. Of course this is something that we are always striving to improve. In terms of your luggage not being... More

$2200 in cash was stolen from my locked bag. The tented rooms do not have security. The owners did not contact me with a follow-up, as I was promised. Surveillance cameras do not exist on the main grounds.
