We were a group of six and only here for a night recently (checked in late and left early), but our stay was excellent from start to finish. We had Deluxe Safari Tents with attached washrooms and they were beautiful. The mattresses are super firm but we all slept well despite. Dinner and breakfast were tasty and two of our... More

This place is outstanding especially given it is a backpackers. The gardens are beautiful, as are the tents. The tents are clean and spacious, with great hot water showers and comfortable surrounds. The food is excellent, so nice to have home cooked food. Wildebeest is such a nice break from the city. They also have things to do such as... More

We immediately felt at home at Wildebeest Eco Camp. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is perfect, very close to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Rehabilitation Centre. The setting of the camp is gorgeous with beautiful luxury tents and a great bar and restaurant area. It has a very relaxing feel to it and you... More

It is a nice place to start your Kenya visit. It has many different types of accomadation ( to fit your budget). We stayed at a cabin this time, basic but good shower and good bed. Nice garden with pond. We just had 1 night before we left for safari.

Checking into Wildebeest Eco Camp I was transported to a rustic countryside fairytale in such a charming location. Our deluxe safari tent came complete with electricity, hot water and an amazing personal deck for a truly magical evening under the stars. The spacious and stylish canvas tent also offered cozy amenities to let us feel like we were really glamping,... More

this is more based on frustration than a description of the stay/place. We paid 15% in advance and the rest was to pay by departure. However, they charged os the full amount by departure so we ended up paying 15+100%. So I wrote to their info e-mail twice, but (not surprisingly), I still have no answer from them after 2... More

We are so glad we found this beautiful and quiet camp. We live in Nairobi and greatly needed an easy and relaxing getaway. Wildebeest Eco Camp was just that! We set up our own tent in the soft, shaded lawn and spent the afternoon reading on the lawn chairs and playing lawn chess. Dinner was a delicious and hearty spread... More

Thus place was recommended to me by friends who used to live in Nairobi. It's near to attractions like the Karen Blixen cottage, giraffe centre and elephant orphanage (David Sheldrake). This is important, as traffic in Nairobi is dire and travel times can be long. They can arrange taxis for you if you don't have a car. They have accommodation... More

Wildebeest is a beautiful camp and I always stay here when I pass through Nairobi. Rooms are lovely and clean. Brilliant price for such a nice place and with breakfast included. Both the dorm rooms and the private rooms are great. If you have the evening buffet the food is delicious. The one downside is that it's quite far from... More

We stayed in a deluxe tent for two nights. When we first entered the tent it smelt quite strongly of sewerage which I am guessing is from the system they have going there. Luckily it did improve overtime or perhaps our noses desensitised. The beds were not that comfy but the pillows and blankets were. The gardens are beautiful and... More
