We stayed at Nefertiti over New Years, many of the big hotels had mandatory supplements so after having read the reviews we gave Nefertiti a shot. First the positives the staff at the hotel were happy to welcome us in the wee hours of the morning. We also felt that the tour we took to the West Bank and the... More

Nefertiti is not the cheapest hotel in Luxor but it is not expensive either. They charge the first night's rent upfront. Having said that, the hotel decor is awesome. We had a room on 4th floor for 4 people (few hotels allow room for 4 people). There was not much space in the room, our make-shift 4th bed was not... More

I stayed at this place with my wife on the 27th of December. The staff was courteous until they found out that i had booked a tour of Luxor beforehand through another tour company. They simply lost all interest in us from that moment on. They were cold and distant to the point of being unfriendly. The manager went to... More

I would like to compare it with other two 3-star hotels nearby: Susanna and queen valley; position: Susanna has the best scenery and much quieter. price: susanna>queen valley>nefertiti, not fixed for all these three, if you go there bargain with the reception, you will have a better price! reception: they are all far bellow 3-star level, but Nefertiti is worst,... This hotel is family-run business and the members of the family are fully aware they are doing the service business. They want to keep their fame high on tripadvior: they are responsive to the needs of travelers. The bathe room is refurbished and very clean. HOt shower is possible any time. The hotel is well maintained to keep clean. Free... More

We stayed evening of 20th and got in without a reservation for 200 Egyptian, room was good and comfortable, although not big for three. View was of side alley but was not too noisy at night (considering it was on the edge of the Souk) We overheard another group of three being pressure to buy (by the receptionist) an overpriced... Great hotel at an amazing location - the rooftop terrace where you have breakfast, and other meals if you want, has a view over the Nile and Luxor Temple. The staff were friendly and helpful. They gave us a rundown of the tours they could organise, but we weren't under any pressure to take any (the only one we did... More

This hotel was in a really great location, good value for the money. The people who run the place are wonderful and can help you out with everything. Breakfast was basic but good. Rooftop view is amazing! Rooms are clean and basic, can be a bit loud at night. Really nice place to stay in Luxor.

We loved our stay at the Nefertiti Hotel. It was a pleasant surprise to arrive at the hotel after a long night on the train from Cairo. We were greeted with smiles and were welcomed to join the guests for breakfast on the roof. The views of the Nile and Luxor Temple were absolutely beautiful, especially during sunset. The hotel's... The Nefertiti Hotel is tucked in a small ally way (as most hotels in Luxor are). It's quite clean and the staff is attentive and very willing to help. The manager of the hotel has many connections and resources if your interested in hiring a car (which we did to take us to Aswan). The nice thing is, he's not... More
