This was a great hotel. It's perfectly located - center of Luxor's east bank, right next to Luxor Temple and in the souk, 5 minutes walk to the ferry that takes you to the west bank, and 5-10 minute walk to the Luxor Museum. Making the reservation was slightly difficult as the fax number is the same as the phone... More

Beware, the prices quoted on their website for tours, according to Miss Eman Ahmad, is "just a starting point". I tried to booked their highlights of luxor tour and was quoted a price way above what was stated on their website, and when I asked about the discrepancy, was given the above statement.

I had reserved 2 rooms for 3 nights at Nefertiti. The staff had been kind on the phone and via emails, but when we arrived we were surprised that a 5-story hotel had no lift (a.k.a., elevator). When we saw our rooms, we were startled to discover that the toilets were, quite literally, IN the shower. No towel rack was... More

If you want international standard luxury, this hotel isn't for you - but if you want a central location, friendly service, great views of the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Luxor, at a bargain price, this hotel really can't be beaten! There's a choice of dining on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Luxor Temple, or down in... More

The Nefertiti is certainly a great bargain for your trip to Luxor. But don't expect perfection. Rooms are not expensive, relatively clean, but quite loud at nights and beds not comfortable. They only have 1 double bed in the entire hotel - so, really the hotel is more for single travelers than couples or families. Staff was friendly and helpful.... More

The Nefertiti was an amazing little hotel tucked into the edge of the bazaar. The service was outstanding! Our flight was 3 hours late and the pick-up guy waited all 3 hours until we came in even though it was 4am!! :) The staff was very friendly and helpful and Ahmed, the manager truly took care of us and helped... This Hotel really left me out of words to describe it. The staff is as friendly as humanly possible, the organized trips are a must, because all the temples and tombs and sights around luxor are much more easy and fun with their friendly help. The rooms are impecably clean, the hot water is really hot water! the rooftop terrace... More
