Ex Novotel, the Iberotel has one (if not the best) locations in Luxor! Beautiful garden, floathing pool on the Nile! Breakfast is great, rooms a big and clean.

IBEROTEL LUXOR 1/3/2008 . we have just returned from a weeks stay at the iberotel ,it is very friendly and clean, the rooms were comfortable and the food o.k.,the manderin restaurant was disappointment and not worth paying the extra .It is worth going all-inclusive as alcoholic and soft drinks can be costly, plus you get your laundry done for free.very nice pool... Had the choice between this and Sonesta St George. Both looked the same so picked this but was hugely disappointed when we got there. Our room stank of cigarette smoke, the staff were dismissive, the pool unheated and the food poor. We walked to the Sonesta which was 10 minutes away but a world away in terms of quality and... We had a very enjoyable holiday on a Nile cruise last year but felt that we could see so much more if we had more time. So this winter we decided to stay for a week in Luxor to see and do more. We chose the Iberotel Hotel, fully inclusive for a week. The hotel is right in the middle... More

Wonderful location; excellent service; helpful and friendly desk staff; huge, delicious breakfast; very clean and nicely appointed; rooms with a view of the Nile RIver have fabulous views from the balcony; lovely gardens and grounds with terraces for having a drink or dining outside; pool by the river; belly dancing and whirling dervish night in restaurant. Rates are reasonable.

The room we got was 27 gbp and included a lovely lovely breakfast. The room itself has absolutely no views, overlooking instead the foyer. However, it was perfectly clean. We chose it as we had decided to book our cruise in Luxor after hearing that it can work out a lot cheaper (off topic: a superior deluxe boat cruise cost... More

The staff of this hotel brought a smile to our face every day. The location is very good and the food is fresh and varied. Even my 84 year old mother wants to go back next year.

We stayed at the hotel with two children and had rooms which overlooked the reception. I was initially worried about this but need not have been. Although it would have been nice to have had a view the rooms were great, clean, quiet and very comfortable. The rooms were cleaned every day, the breakfasts were very good and all the... More

I stayed at the Iberotel Luxor for 2 nights in January 2008. The best thing about this hotel is its location - it is right at the end of the main street that runs along the river, and is right on the Nile with no roads in between it and the river. The pool is actually a floating pontoon overhanging... More

The Iberotel is on the main drag in Luxor and unlike some of the other hotels it is located right on the banks of the Nile. We got a room that had a Nile view and in my opinion is worth the extra money - for one thing it's very quiet because on all the other sides of the hotel... More
