Before I explain why I found this hotel lacklustre I must point out that the hotel has very pleasant grounds and a nice poolside area on the Nile. But... Of the 100+ hotels I have stayed in this is the first which has neither drinkable tap water nor bottled water in the room. You would think Egyptians would understand the... More

Had a week here bed and breakfast. Hotel was a good temperature at all times never too hot. Spacious room with bathroom attached overlooking the road, most importantly decent air con. Place is clean with pleasant staff. Gardens go down to the Nile on which a large punt is moored containing the swimming pool. Gardens are nicely kept as well.... More

Stayed as part of an organised trip to Luxor to sight see. Nice hotel in a fabulous location on the banks of the Nile. We were fortunate enough to be given a room on the 5th floor with views over the Nile, amazing. Food ok but not as good as the hotel in Hurgarda that we were staying at, but... More

Probably the best location in the whole of luxor (i.e. Along the nile - so easy access to rent fellucas, walking distance from the main bazaar, walking distance from luxor temple, 25 minutes by taxi from the airport, taxis available at the hotel doorstep). I had a private room with a tv and attached bathroom - both clean but minimalistic... More

We just returned from Luxor A few Days Ago and staying at the Iberotel, I must say how sad it is to see such a safe place so quiet through lack of tourists. The Egyptian people could not have been friendlier and we had a wonderful holiday. Transport around the city was really cheap with many things to see and... More

We chose this hotel following our Nile cruise on the MS Royal Esadora booked through Classic Holidays. We booked this hotel as it was all inclusive as having stayed in Luxor before we know drinks can be expensive. Our check in was overseen by Manal on reception who was friendly and welcoming and sorted out our room requirements. As requested... More

Stayed March - April 2015 First thoughts when coach stopped outside was, "where's the hotel?" There is a small entrance between some shops but this leads to a large reception/lobby area with plenty of comfortable seating. Check in was a breeze, bags taken to room and room it's self more than adequate, everything was clean and tidy if a little... More

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Bring your own teabags and coffee as they only supply herbal tea in room. Food is excellent with a good choice. We preferred the pool snack bar for lunch as the lunchtime buffet is limited. The hotel was only at 10% occupancy which is sad as we felt quite safe in Luxor but... More

An underutilized jewel on the Nile, this location is easy to get to; I arranged a pick-up at the airport with them. I did my booking with Booking.com and I upgraded to a top-floor Nile-view when I saw the room. Details: Location: easy to walk to the center town, Luxor area. Taxis and carriages are cheap if you need one.... More

i have stayed at nearly every hotel in luxor from the hilton to the old winter palace, and always come back to the iberotel luxor because of the staff who will go out of there way to help you, the views over the west bank are great and the pool floating on the nile is a really nice touch ,...
