Travelled to Luxor with my sister. This was our first visit so did not know what to expect. I must say we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is central for everything and the rooms are clean. The staff were fantastic. They all had a great sense of humour and kept us entertained. The food was also of good quality. We... more

This is a good, clean and comfortable hotel. We were lucky to have a room overlooking the Nile, and had a great view of the Temples -- some people in our tour who had the street side rooms were not so pleased - so try and get a room overlooking the Nile. The pool and gardens were beautiful -- and... more

My Boyfriend and I had booked a last min deal to Luxor Egypt, a place where I had wanted to see for many years so I was thrilled when I phoned teletext and the chap said that there was an all inclusive week in Luxor at the Iberotel for the two of us! He gave a really good description of... more

This hotel may not be the most plush in Luxor, but for us is was the perfect location and with the upgrade to a Nile view room, it was a stunning choice. From our top floor balcony we could see the Luxor temple a couple of hundred yards away to our right and across the Nile we could easily make... more

Excellent hotel - couldn't fault it at all. Be warned that you can't really walk anywhere in Luxor without being "hassled" either to go into a shop, take a horse carriage ride or to go on boat trips. Best thing, especially at night, is to get a horse carriage to take you to a restaurant and hire them for the... more

The iberotel is a really wonderful respite from hectic Luxor. Great location, and fabulous pool and gardens makes it very pleasurable. The breakfast included was very comprehensive and gave even picky eaters plenty of choices. Rooms are fairly dated but otherwise comfortable. more

We had a weeks stay and you couldnt fault the hotel. We stayed in room 438 which overlooked the crazy roundabout and we could also see the nile to the side of the balcony. The gardens are tendered every day and it was lovely to sit there watching the sun go down over the west bank. The staff really look... more

Me and my daughter stayed at this hotel from 22nd April - 29th April 09 in room 417. The room was fantastic, we had a view across the nile and up the corniche, so we had the best of both worlds. The room was very clean and the maid came every day and made creations with towels, which made our... more
