Just back from 2 weeks at the Iberotel. The hotel is in a fab location, right on the banks on the Nile and 5 minute walk from Luxor Temple. We stayed on all inclusive basis but we found the food was very repetitive. We struggled to find something we wanted to eat towards the end of the 2 weeks. Saying... More

We have just spent 5 nights at this hotel following a Nile cruise. The location is great, being right on the Nile and within easy walking distance of Luxor temple and the souk. It is a good base for visiting many historical sites although we did this on the cruise. The hotel, particularly the bedrooms, are in need of refurbishment... More

I have just returned from Luxor after 2weeks at the Iberotel. I have read many reviews of the hotel..both good and critical, but I have to say that I have been coming to this hotel for 20 years and will not stay anywhere else. The staff are attentive, friendly and do their best and always with a smile. The food... More

Visited here after a week on the Nile Legacy. Check in was very fast friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable with a superb view of the Nile and the wonderful sunsets. The staff were delightful with an innocent fun sense of humour and provided excellent service. The lunchtime buffet was a bit lacking but then I would suggest you make use of... Me and my husband stayed at Iberotel Luxor at the beginning of February and spent a week there. Before arrival I was not sure whether we choose the right place, but our enjoyment of the hotel grew with every day we spent there, as well as in Luxor and El Gouna. Position of the hotel is great. Beautiful terraces and... More

Stayed here for 3 nights from Christmas Eve 2014, 2 adults and 7 yr old son. First night was utter bliss - having spent previous day and night on a Nile felucca - warmth, soft bed and home comforts. There is no doubt that Egypt, Luxor and all the hotels are suffering terribly at the moment. Its hard to know... More

The Hotel is very well located, a short walk from Luxor Temple, and short drive from Karnak temple and not too far drive from king Valley, has a Nile River view, excellent breakfast. Price is very fair.

Luxor is suffering. About a tenth of the tourists compared to what they had. So hotels are struggling. Room had great view. Staff exceptionally friendly. Italian restaurant and café closed but main restaurant, pool bar with great food, afternoon and evening bar with food and Chinese open. Main restaurant has huge breakfast choice. Good lunch. Evening has soup. Hot buffet... More

After spending a wonderful week cruising down the Nile we arrived at the hotel. First impressions ok, had a room with beautiful views of the gardens, pool and the Nile. NYE hosted a gala dinner, beautiful reception cocktails but from this point onwards it all went downhill. We were sat for approx 1 hour before being invited for food which... More
