We arrived and there was a problem with the booking. There is no need to go into what it was, but we asked to see the manager . We came within a minute, took us to the seating area, offered us a drink, apologized for the trouble, and explained the hotel's position politely, quietly and clearly. We reached a compromise... I spend three days in Luxor to visit the many ancient sites. The hotel staff are very helpful, pleasant, and speak multiple languages well (including English). Tourism is very slow in Luxor at this time, which is a shame in such a beautiful, safe area. While I enjoyed my stay, this is not a 5 star resort (and it does... More

During parts of our two week stay here the other half and me were the only guests! Most disconcerting although the number swelled to no more than 10 as time went on. The staff have to be commended for their tireless effort and friendliness in what are difficult times for Egypt and the lack of tourists. They were all charming,... More

Massive Hotel with some 500 rooms but virtually empty due to very few tourists. Well situated on the banks of the Nile with good swimming pool Service excellent as was the price for drinks. A requested mid day snack was served quickly and efficiently and we just felt sorry for the staff who were so underemployed. It is so sad... More

Dated and run down hotel which requires touch ups. The gym room was not functional. The hotel is located along the Nile River which makes a good environment but other than that, there is not much to recommend. Free Wi-Fi available in the lobby only. There is much better hotel with the same price range in Luxor.

We stayed at the Pyramisa isis Hotel, Luxor 17 - 31/12/2014 (booked through Love Holidays also highly recommended) on an All Inclusive Basis. We did not realise until we reached the hotel how very few tourists are going to Luxor. The Hotel during the whole of our stay had a best 50 guests the majority of which were Egyptians, on... More

In 20 years of visiting Luxor this is one of the few hotels I have not stayed in but I visit it regularly. It is a lovely hotel and worth it's rating! It is a little dated in it's looks but that is perfect for Luxor and I would have it no other way. By dated I mean it has... More

my third trip to luxor. crowds are down from for years ago. 4 of us were the only people at this hotel. Great food, great service. Best time to go is now. That's right, go now while crowds are down you won't be disappointed. it is safe here
