This is an outdated hotel, which felt very cold upon arrival. Not only the overpowring marble with the many colour clashes, but also the arrogant staff, who did not seem to care. As soon as you walk in the lobby..you know this is a 5 star property. The staff is friendly and accomodating. You have a choice of restaurants, bars, and cafes. Ask for a Nile view. The Sonesta St George is a wonderful place to stay. Just two complaints that really effected our trip. One is the bank Machine in the lobby was out half the time. The second problem we had with the hotel was the door stopper in the bathroom floor that broke my toe. more
