I can only echo what most other reviewers have said about the Jollie Ville. As this was my first trip to Luxor I can't comment on the other hotels but I can't imagine they would be any better than this. Firstly the location. It is south of the town, just four or five minutes from the centre by inexpensive taxi.... More

I stayed at the Jolie Ville from 30th June for one week. LIke many people I had read the reviews on trip adviser and was prepared for a good hotel that needed a little updating. When I arrived at the hotel I was pleasantly suprised - the grounds were stunning and lovely to look at. Even more lovely were the... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. It was wonderful. The scenery was fabulous, you could not ask for a more picturesque hotel, or place! The hotel is on an island in the Nile so is away from the hussle and bustle of the city but in reality only a 10 minute taxi ride (or free bus) away. The... More

When you arrive at the hotel, the grounds are the first thing you see and the hotel certainly makes a grand entrance for any visitor. Two waterfalls surrounded by a landscaped area mark the entrance to the hotel. The staff open the doors for ou and you immeiately feel the air con and are introduced by a drink. Considering the... Just got back and booked through discover egypt. Was a wise move as the tickets + hotel also included all transfers, which meant they picked us up from the airport and dropped us off. They booked our trips to the air balloon / cairo / red sea and also offer other trips but this is all we could fit in... More

I am a Group operations Manager for a large Irish based pub group so my day to day life would be considered quite hectic. When my fiance booked the Maritim jolie ville Luxor Island resort as a birthday present for me I was to say the least a little apprehensive as Egypt and the Nile valley would never have struck... From being collected at the airport to check-in was very smooth. The Hotel is about 10minutes from Luxor town, there is a complimentary bus which takes and collects you from town at various times. We used the local taxis approx £1.50 one way. The rooms are in bungalows in the grounds, a little dated but clean and comfortable and wonderful... More
