What can I say a fantistic place to stay, the staff are so friendly nothing is to much trouble for them. The grounds are great and the Infinity pool is something else. The food was good and the ice cream was to die for. Away from the main hussle and bussle of Luxor but still only a short drive to... More

Arrived at the hotel in the early evening was greated by reception who provided a warm welcome and a drink!! Our room was allocated and our cases were delivered some time a little later a great idea!! The rooms are spotless and the bathroom is a little dated but the water is hot and they provide shower gel and shampoo.... More

Luxor has a reputation of being the hassle capital of Egypt, and it's entirely justified -- you can't take three steps downtown without someone offering you a taxi, boat, horse & buggy or camel ride. Fortunately there's an oasis just out of town, and it's this very resort! My buddy and I booked a bungalow here through the travel agent... More

Escorting my 80-year-old mother to Egypt was never going to be easy, especially as she was scheduled to have a hp replacement the week after we returned and was hopping lame. I thought it might be useful to write specifically about our experience, as I couldn't find an independent source of advice before we went.. Our tour operator, Discover Egypt,... More

With my family I spend 3 nights in November in this Hotel. I must admit that it was a pleasant surprise after our not so nice stay in Cairo. The property is fantastic and huge, with mini zoo for the kids. Rooms were independant cottage type, despite bit small in Egyptian standard it was neat. Great pool scene, excellent ambience with the river Nile... More

Having just spent a very enjoyable week at the Jolie Ville with its excellent food and hospitality, I cannot add to the superlatives from other guests. A great time to visit with temperatures in the 70's, hot enough to lie by the pool but not too hot to visit the attractions, but bring a fleece or jumper for the evenings.... More

I am writing this review from the Jolie Ville using their WiFi so it is up-to-date! It is neither as good or as bad as the more extreme reviews here. The good things are the staff who are extremely helpful and will look after you whatever you need and the food which can be a bit deep-fried but does not... More

Arrived here in the evening and all was as previously remembered. The rooms are set in small bungalow style blocks in lovely garden settings. Outside each room you have a small terrace with table and two chairs plus a sunlounger. Inside the room there is another table and two chairs alongside the window. Loads of storage space. Good size bathroom... More

Just returned from a few days break in Cairo and then luxor, and what a relief to arrive at this hotel after the chaos of Cairo! There are many good and bad things about Luxor but this hotel was definately a good thing, a real sanctuary. The room we had was large enough for us both, plenty of wardrobe space... More
