This was a very large complex which at the time of our visit was mostly empty. This was a two and a half day stay after a seven day Nile cruise before our return to Cairo. The hotel was clean and our room was very nice. I love the fact that there's so much grass and trees surrounding all the... More

Hotel with huge potentials of being a fantastic place. unfortunately it is run (maybe because of the lack of tourists) with a low prices politic, offering rooms for a much cheaper price that it could be for its size and range. That affects a lot the quality of the services that in various occasions were at the level of a... More

We stayed at the Hotel for 1 night before boarding our cruise. The lay out is nice and the view of the Nile and desert is brilliant.Staff at the bars and restaurants/room service are sweet, pleasant & attentive. The hotel seemed only half occupied (at best) in peak season which is a common sight in all of Egypt at this... More

For a british family staying in a hotel at Christmas, we liked it very much and would gladly stay there again. The hotel was pretty empty when we arrived, but still friendly and welcoming. All inclusive meant what it said. The food was good and varied, and the chefs made extra requests for all the children. Good quality meats, nice... More

I have not stayed in the resort, but how i wish i did! It is a beautiful property which magnificent lawn, temperature controlled pool and a breath taking view of the river Nile. The food is AMAZING! The best I have eaten in Luxor. I went to dine (to check the food quality and the menu finalized) here during my... More

Hotel remains first class, even with the reduced staff. Holiday was meant to be relaxing and all the staff bent over backwards to make it so, the only concern was the lack of selection at meal times, but this is understandable due to the dearth of visitors to the hotel and Luxor in general due to the misconceptions surrounding safety... We stayed here in October 2014. The purpose of the holiday was to relax following a foot injury. The hotel met all of our expectations. The hotel was quite empty (Due to misconceptions about the safety of travelling in Egypt) But this was to our advantage, the staff were very attentive. The food was exceptional. We dined like royalty for... More

We stayed for a few days in December. It is a lovely hotel located right on the Nile bank, within a short, cheap taxi journey to the centre. The hotel itself has loads of facilities, however it seems the politics in Egypt is massively affecting the amount of tourists visiting, and so the hotel was virtually empty. Only 1 resturant... After 12 years of coming to Luxor, as a base camp more than twice a year for Pre-historic research in Southern Upper Egypt, what an iluminating example of professionality gaved us the Karnak Resort. Nevertheless the dificult and long period that all we know of low tourisim along the Nile shores, Karnak Resort only seeks excellence. There were problems, as... More

We have just returned from a two week break at this lovely hotel. Beautiful setting in well maintained gardens on the bank of the Nile . Tourists are very thin on the ground in Luxor at the moment, and at most during our stay the occupancy at maximum didn't exceed 10 guests. It's heartbreaking , the locals are just scratching...
