Wonderfull hotel, lovely big room & bathroom, very clean. If you want to go on the Balloon ride book it at the hotel it is a lot cheaper than booking it through the agent, we had an excellent ride & they really looked after you, they are called SINDIBAD BALLOONS. We also found a lovely Restaurant called PALS in Luxor... More

I stayed on the 7th floor, room 710 actually.. View overlooked the garden. Wasn't the nile view I'd booked, but nevermind, the nile rooms were already all occupied. The room I was given was spacious, I had a double bed, there was a tv and refridgerator, etc. I think the TV was a bit basic, and the channels were a... More

The Hotel has two sections, an original one... More

The New Winter Palace is basically an annex of the Old winter Palace. While the Old Winter Palace is a 5* hotel, the New Winter Palace is certainly not and is probably about equivalent to a 3*. The rooms are shabby and facilities limited, although this may be explained by the fact it will be knocked down soon to make... More

Me and my partner went through The Holiday Place website to apply for our holiday to New Winter Palace that had only in April received its 5 star rating. However, there are some things I must update, and I'm sorry to do it so long after my holiday! The pool table is not free. The rooms are not perfectly well... More
