The Pavilion is a separate and detached wing of the Old Winter Palace and is graded as 4 star compared to the 5 star rating of the OWP. The Winter Palace is in a great location on the banks of the Nile by Luxor temple. There are numerous reasonably priced restaurants across the road on the Nile bank within 2-3 minute walking distance and the temple of Luxor is only a minutes walk away.
