Lovely quiet setting on the West Bank of Luxor. Lovely little stone house style, with spacious rooms and quaint decor. The towel art is very cool also :-) wi-fi is free but starts and stops so not very reliable but hey its beautiful outside! You have a semi private garden where you can relax, read, eat dinner etc. The food... More

It's a traditional hotel, far away from the hustle and bustle of the West Bank. It's zero star but you get what you pay for. The owner Mohammed is really only interested in making money from tourists so as soon as he new I wasn't a cash cow all pretence of friendliness was out the window. It's also full of... More

I know this hotel and i have been there several times. It is a piece of paradise on earth and the staff is absolutely friendly as it is to be expected in a very hospitable country like Egypt. I was shocked as i read this negative report. Egypt is a moslem country that prohibits any form of sexual contact between... More

The staff accused us of being gay and told us to leave, they had six to eight men that made us leave and called us names that I can't put on here, They are very homophobic and aggressive. As they were throwing us out two of the men tried to punch us in the face. The setting is lovely but... More

Al Baeirat. It is a window on Egypt and Egyptian life, the hotel is based on the West Bank and away from the main hotel areas. The Owner and staff are excellent, nothing is an issue to them. Food is fresh, local and so tasty. Luxor is very underestimated at the moment, it is safe and a wonderful holiday area.... More

Passing through Luxor on a road trip across the country, I did not want to stay on the east bank with all the hustle and bustle and harrassment. We discovered this gem through trip advisor. Staff is super friendly from the moment they answered our phone call. Very helpful in helping us plan our short stay. They hooked us with... More

Definitely by far the best place that I have got to know in Luxor !! The rooms are in spacious and lovely bungalows. Beautiful swimming pool bordering to the Nile. Great view from the restaurant and garden on the Nile, with always fresh and great food. Staff and hotel owner are very friendly and helpful. It is located on the... More

My wife and I travel a lot and this is by far one of the best places we've ever stayed. It is not a 5 star resort if that is what you are looking for. What it is - is a true Egyptian experience. The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful. It is quiet and located on the west bank... More

Perfect rural location just opposite Luxor city. Convenient shuttle boat on demand. Charming owner and attentive staff. Spacious apartment like bungalow accomodation with this extra service. Reasonable garden restaurant overlooking the Nile (still, some room to extend the menue); cheerful choice of restaurants next door.
