I stayed 2 nights here in November 2011. The hotel is basic and clean, OK for people who are in Aswan for a few days to see the town and sights accessible from Aswan, not to hang around the hotel and enjoy the amenities. The 2-bed room is clean and comfortable enough, with private bathroom and AC. Basic breakfast is... More

Its clean, its painted, its has good service, it has wifi (albeit slow with limited coverage), it has security cameras, it has limited secure parking, its central, its has an excellent breakfast plate. After all that i'm a bit put off by the price. It seems to be twice the price of other hotels in town. So although i think... More

Hotel located opposite entrance to Souk (you can walk from this entrance through the souk all the way to the train station) and near the river bank. Room was basic but clean with good air-cond. Booked the Abu Simbel tour from hotel and everything went without a glitch. Given a breakfast box as had to leave at 2.30am for the... More

Stayed here 2 nights with the wife and 2 year old. This was the only place we saw in town. Ask to see a couple rooms. The first was windowless, the second somewhat better. En-suite room was clean with AC , if small and uninspiring. Everything worked. Front desk could have been a little less aloof and more helpful. More

I didn't like anything about this hotel excepting the fact that the cars they hired for us was good and the rates are very reasonable. The windows face towards the back of another room and you can touch the walls when you put your hand outside. Their wasn't any air circulation inside the room and you always feel claustrophobic. The... More

I would highly recommend anyone looking for a good value hotel in Aswan. The rooms were small, but the staff were VERY friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. Positives: - quiet location, down a side street, so we slept very peacefully - comfortable matresses - much better than in other hotels of the same price in Egypt -... More

I didn't think Keylany was terrific value for money -- my room was cheap (EGP 75 per night), but it was also dirty and none too comfortable. Everything about the place was acceptable, nothing was really bad, nothing was especially good. The tiny rooftop pool was nice; even in late November, it was still hot enough during the day that... We ended up not staying at this hotel due to a number of things- 1. 20 steps up to the hotel from the street with no railings(not that strange considering) 2. they gave us 2 rooms right off receception-one with 2 single beds and no windows the other 3 beds with no window and both bathrooms that you couldnt turn... Everything as described in their website, no unpleasant surprises! Room adequate for 4 of us but very noisy. Bathroom small and shower drainage bad and flooded bathroom. But for this price for a family of 4 you can not expect perfection! Value for money given price. What I liked was that airport pickup was as arranged, also the manager was... More

You get what you paid for. It was really cheap, suitable for budget travellers. Overall considered clean and customer service was good too. Excellent location too, close to souk and in the centre of Aswan. And the rooftop cafe was lovely. The private toilet was old and poor maintained. And the hotel room was so dated!!! If you want an...
