Like you, I looked up this hotel on tripadvisor and it seemed like the best hotel choice to stay at. My friend and I stayed one night and we were well satisfied. When you walk up the steps from the street you think worriedly "Okay..." BUT as soon as you walk in, you think "Okay, great!" The hotel in general... More

I stayed at this hotel just for the night and it was very good. The building is a bit old, so are the toilet facilities, but still very functional and i had no problems. It was very warm that night, even with the air conditioner on. I had a breakfast box because i was leaving early in the morning.

The rooms are fine, the place is clean, the location is good near the river. The staff are friendly and helpful, they'll organize a box breakfast if you're going out early. It's the best budget option.

After going through Aswan looking for clean, budget accommodation the only option w were left with was Keylany Hotel, many others in our guidebook were either charging as much the 4 and 5 star options in town or where quite disgusting to say th least. Keylany was good compromise. The owner was very kind and friendly am he catered to... More

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Keylany and found the experience to be consistently very good. As stated in my February 2009 review, Keylany is close to the Nile and souks, and there are 2 mosques nearby, so some street noise is to be expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave good advice. We enjoyed... More

The staff was very helpful. We stayed one night & they arranged transportation for us to Abo Simbel for only 85 EGP. Very recommend for those how are on budget or searching for a place to sleep and have a bath.

i stayed for one night in march 2014 in an ac room with a privat bathroom. the room was clean with simple furniture and a small balcony. wifi was good in the room (232) or the lobby. i didnt use the ac cause the sound was very loud. complementary breakfast (pancake, toast with butter, cheese and jam, fruitsalade, coffee/tea) served... The Keylani Hotel is situated close to one of the main roads of Aswan, but on a little side street, so you don't hear too much of the traffic. Shops, bars, ATMs, the nile and restaurants are within a 5-10min walking distance. The hotel itself has A/C ensuite (hot showers) double rooms for EGP 235 (€25), including an excellent breakfast... I do not understand what people like about the hotel. I stayed for 3 nights (pre-booked and payed, otherwise I would have changed). In the first room the shower didnt work, so they gave me another on the 2. floor. Extremely loud AC - impossible to sleep, and Aswan in June is hot! Everything was run down and shabby and... More
