The location is very nice: right in the middle of Nile. We had a great view from our hotel at the tombe. The room was large enough and the people at the reception desk we're doing their job. The location of this lovely hotel right in the middle of the Nile is absolutely stunning! There is a free boat transferring from the hotel to the city running 24 hours per day, no problem. We came to Aswan from Cairo intending to make a quick visit to abu simbel before heading on to Luxor. But the warm welcome, superb facilities, and calming environs of the pyramisa hotel enticed us to extend our stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and luxurious. I don't recommend this hotel at all. It is on an island. You will be cut off from Aswan (it is 15 minute free ferry away, which runs every 30 minutes or so). Because of that factor, you will be forced to spend an inordinate amount of time within the hotel paying exorbitant hotel prices. Food in the hotel is... more
