Hotel is very good, near the train station, clean and cheep, everybody is pally and helpful in every situation. Atmosphere is like at home, boys from reception are like a big family. Special thanks and regards to Mr. Beshway the manager of the hotel.

I stayed here last month. Pros: the location is a great - a really short walk from the train station. This was great because I took the train in and out of Aswan. Cons: in the first room I stayed, the toilet leaked sewage onto the bathroom after the first flush so I requested a different room. The light did... More

Don't stay here, it's very cheap but full of bugs and has terrible service with a worse atmosphere. Our room was crawling with bugs, literally 100 plus. In the bed, in the duvet, in the pillow, everywhere. We ended up putting a tent up in our room. Ensuite bathroom was a impractical, shower sprayed all over room, toilet didn't flush.... More

Yes, the hotel is inexpensive but you get too many roommates in a 'private' room. I saw cockroaches everywhere, including my bed. My room had also some strange odor of some chemicals, perhaps intended to fight those same cockroaches...

Cockroaches and not a great bathroom, but for 20 EGP a night this is by far the best budget option - hot showers (constantly, and in room), wifi and friendly management. Can also arrange trips to Abu Simbel at reasonable prices. Aswan is pretty poor for cheap options, and would recommend this above all the others.

I'd say this hotel is OK for the price and egyptian standards. It's located very nicely, close to the train station (5 minutes by foot), close to the market, the Nile, and not so far from the city center. The owner of the hotel is amazing, very kind, very helpful. The room - well, what you can expect for few... More
