This property and people lived up to the reviews. Unexpected location at the end of the road through real Nubian villages, right on the river. The staff were lovely, rooms unique and outlook peaceful. We enjoyed a boat ride into Aswan proper, meals on the riverside patio and evening dinner event food was great. Rooms were small, clean and had... More

Beautiful place to stay, I think the highlight would be the staff, Nubian people in general are the warmest and most hospitable in the whole of Egypt, this you could experience at Anakato and elsewhere in Aswan, The way you connect with the Nile is altogether different than what we're used to in Cairo, you really learn to appreciate its... The Hotel is Unique, I felt like I'm sleeping over at my friend's place. All rooms overlook the river Nile & the staff are adorable and always smiling & helpful. Everyone in Nubia is smiling & helpful :) The food wasn't that good, BUT... there's this AWESOME restaurant adjacent to the hotel (Aunatika) that is just amazing! I've tried another... More

The place is peaceful and very very relaxing, perfect view. Fresh Air. Excellent service. The staff there is very cheerful , helpful and welcoming. You are a welcomed guess over there. Rooms are very clean. The design is inspiring. Nice to wake up early in the morning on the sound of whistling birds :) I would definitely recommend it.

This is by far one of the most peaceful and relaxing places I've ever been to. It has an amazing view over the Nile and everyone working there is helpful and smiling. I already miss their great breakfast with generous portions. The rooms are clean with a small fridge and AC. There are supermarkets and some nice shops to buy... More

My stay at Anakato was great, the atmosphere was relaxing & the people were really friendly. During the day you could enjoy all the bazzars & the lovely Nile view, at night you could enjoy a cooked dinner at one of the Nobian Houses nearby accompanied. It's not that far from Aswan, once the transportation is availble. I strongly recommend... More
