Bet el Kerem is a great place. The staff and Abdul are honest and warm-hearted hosts. Very good homecooked food, best Dinner I had in Assuan! The location itself is pefectly situated. Tranquility and beautiful nature surrounds Bet el Kerem. And the ferryport is just a stone's throw away. I loved the ferry boat to Assuan, peaceful atmosphere and after... More

I have traveled a lot and this is one of the best places I have ever stayed in! Abdul, the owner, is the kindest man I have ever met, I truly mean that. He was beyond friendly and always willing to help with anything, whether planning a trip to Abu Simbel or just sharing tea in the afternoon. The dinners... More

Beit El Kerim is a beautiful and magical place. The rooms are clean, and each has a great view of the Nile and of Aswan across the Nile. The food, which is eaten in the traditional looking restaurant on the roof, is quite good. It should be experienced by every traveller to Nubia.

Friendly atmoshphere and generous attitude of staff were very accommodating since the beginning of our arrival. You would enjoy small chats with Abdul, the owner of the hotel, while taking pleasure in the beauty of Nile. Shared bathroom was not our first preference, but they were very clean although the hot water might run off a bit quickly. Since we... More

Bet el-Kerem welcomes you with its cheerful blue façade and nicely-set garden... The guesthouse crew are very kind and warm. I've enjoyed a lot their company and friendly chats.. their quiet smile and patience fills one with joy. The place is very clean, and the food is also super delicious. The tranquility of the place and its environment is a... More

This is a gem of a hotel. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable beds. The setting is perfect, a 5 minute walk from the local ferry and on the edge of the welcoming nubian village. Aswan town is a short hop across the river - but if it's tranquility you want, star gazing from the roof terrace... More

I felt very welcome in this guesthouse. It was clean, the rooms were comfortable and amazing with the beautiful coloured walldecorations. The people treated me like family and I had a wonderful time there. I hope to go back in the future. Its nice to be on the roof and to enjoy the view at the Nile and the desert... More

The place was nice, especially the rooftop restaurant, and the room was basic but nice. There were only 4 of us there at the time, including one who had been there for a month already with nifty "spy camera" glasses so he could take photos in the restricted areas of tombs/temples. Dinner and breakfast were good, but come time to... More

Of course we are happy with the positive aspects mentioned; the rooftop, the rooms, the meals. This is confirmed in many other reviews. But we don't recognize the issue about the transfer rates. We do our best to communicate about our prices transparent. The rates are both available in every room of the guest house and also on our website.... More
