LOCATION: Fantastic right next to the Pyramids of Giza! HOTEL: The Meridian is a very beautiful modern and classy hotel. It was very luxurious and comfortable complete with all modern amenities. The hotel had a lounge in the lobby, a hookah bar, very large restaurant and even some small luxury stores. There are many things to do once you are... more

We had an excellet buffet dinner there before going to the Sound and Light Show. Before we left the hotel, I had a slight fall. The people working at the hotel treated me like a queen. I was very impressed by the care and concern. more

A very busy hotel with a huge lobby that is continually bustling with people. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We told reception on arrival that it was our anniversary and they immediately upgraded us to a king size bed with a pyramid view at no extra cost. The hotel run a sound and light excursion to the pyramid sound and... more

The Good: Location and view IF you ask to face the South (Pyramids view). Try to stay in the 30's (330, 331, 431, etc.). Service is reasonably good, with curteous folks. The staff greets you and is nice. The pool is very nice, and the pool staff was great. The pool has a nice view of the pyramids. The beds... more

We stayed at the Hotel because of its proximity to the Great Pyramid. Our room actually gave us a view of the Pyramids. The room had very up to date facilities including CNN on the TV! We were on a tour with Travel Egypt from the USA and were delighted with the standard of the facilities and the knowlege of... more

Stayed here for 2 nights at the start of a 9day Egyptian trip before going to Luxor. Spent 3000 Starwood points per night for a Pyramids view room - excellent. Room was clean and reasonably well appointed, but the beds were horrible - soft, worse than most dormitory beds. Ate in one of the hotel restaurants - OK food and... more

We stayed at Le Meridien Pyramids for 3 nights at the start of June. We arrived late and were checked in within minutes and shown to our room and told "welcome to Egypt, welcome home" a nice touch. We had a room overlooking the road but the room was lovely, spacious and clean and we weren't too bothered about not... more

My family stayed at this hotel for 1 night at the beginning of a two week family journey around the Middle East and Europe. We used starwood points, only 3000, to be 5 minutes away from the Great Pyramids. You can't beat that kind of deal. The hotel was lovely, but I am especially fond of the location. We ate... more

The location of this motel is fantastic with a view of the Pyramids from our balcony. The staff you can't fault, from the cleaners who service the rooms to the front desk. The food, well there was a huge selection, with everything so fresh. I especianlly enjoyed the cafe in the foyer, with exceptional staff and a great choice on... more

This was our second trip to Africa from the USA, the first being to Kenya/Tanzinia/Zanzabar. On this trip to Egypt, my wife and I traveled to Giza and stayed at this hotel for the first two nights prior to travel to Upper Egypt.. We felt very welcomed and service was top shelf, so to speak. The resturant(s) staff provided service... more
