I spent a day use at Cataract Pyramids few days ago, it’s definitely not a 5 stars hotel, but it’s ok for a day use. They have a very large pool, which is great; the pool area is OK though the floors were dirty, that my feet were very dirty just walking from the pool to the table, the pool... more

I blame myself for not looking on trip advisor first as this place was booked by our travel company in England on our behalf as part of a package to Luxor -the travel company said it was a fabulous place. We looked here afterwards and thought perhaps people were exaggerating.? They are NOT. This place has an horrendous mosquito problem.... more

Yes, we are yet another family who fell prey to the mosquitoes. Both my 7 & 9 year olds who had been bitten well over 100 times, looked like they were suffering from some form of disease. We had no spray in the room, along with the non-existent bottle opener that supposedly exists in every bathroom, but 1 guy checked... more

I spent only four nights in this hotel and my children really suffered from the mosquitos! My 7 years old daughter had 80 mosquito bites after the first night and we didn't solve the problem despite our efforts and the help of the hotel staff. The plumbing was good, the room somehow filthy, the view not so good and some... more

We (family with 2 small children) stayed here for 3 nights and it was a great stopover. We wanted somewhere where we could see the sites for a few hours each day but then lounge by the pool for the pm. So, it was perfect. The pool is this hotels best feature! The grounds are beautiful but rooms are tired.... more

If this resort wasn't trying to sell itself as a five star resort, perhaps it would get better than a one star rating. It's livable, but the state of the plumbing is so poor that it is disgusting. The water is not quite clear and things are rusted, moldy, and/or dusty. The rest of the room is ok but also... more

The can of Raid insect spray welcomed us into our room. That should've told us everything we needed to know about this so-called resort. I stayed here with my family and a group of friends and their families for over a week. We agreed this had to be the worst hotel ever. The bell captain and bell boys were wonderful... more
