Hotel was overall quite nice and new but service needs improvement. We came to Egypt for our honeymoon and they gave us a room with 2 twin beds. I phoned reception and see if we could get a double bed, their answer was "I will call you if there is a room". Of course we never heard back. The safe... more

clean and descent. not your usual european five star, but was better than expected (after horrible experience with Syrian five star hotels). huge and comfy rooms, clean bathrooms, and ok breakfast. All in all, good value for money (100eur for dbl room, bed & breakfast) more

Safir Cairo is a great hotel for visiting the city of Cairo. The city is huge and has a low level of modernization, so close to the hotel we streets gray and confusion (transit)! The service the hotel is great, a beautiful lobby, rooms are very good, large and roomy, with good decor. The food is good for those who... more

Hotel Safir Suites in Zamalekh, Cairo is an excellent place to stay. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous. They have great facilities like a health club, a swimming Pool, Internet Access in the suites and an in house restaurant. The other great aspects about this place is that it is right next to the Nile River and located in... more

We had a few nights at the beginning of our trip in the Safir. Positives: It is a nice, very clean hotel, pleasant staff and the buffet breakfast is excellent. Negatives: Unless you really know Cairo the location is average - there is very little in the way of dining options around the hotel - you can walk to downtown... more

We stayed at the Safir Cairo for three non-consecutive nights and were satisfied with the hotel. First of all, we did not notice any construction work going on (and heard no noise either). The location is good, for while the hotel might be on the other side of the Nile , there is an underground station only 5 minutes walk... more

We arrived November 22th and stayed four nights. This hotel is under big renovations. The corner facing El Misaha Square looks like a construction site. But when you enter the lobby, it is quite different. Spacious and nice lobby. The room was large and clean. The restaurant had a good variety of food. It was fresh and well kept. Housekeeping... more

The Safir is a very nice hotel for the price. It is out of the town center so you will need to travel to the Antiquities Museum, etc. However it has been completely renovated, everything is sparkling, clean and new. The food was excellent in the sushi restarant and the breakfast buffet was great. more
