It is unbelievable..... having a very good dinner while admiring the Pyramids. It is a unique event I will never forget. I must come back with my wife to celebrate one of our next wedding anniversary!

A ver elegant Hotel in the shadow of the Pyramids. I stayed in a suite decorated in ancient Egypt splendour. don't expect modern but very comfortable and feels like it is still the same as when Winston Churchill stayed there. Beautiful pool area for evening drinks and great service

One of the best if not the best hotel in cairo. Rooms are magnificent and viewing the pyramids. Everything is overwhelming and just great. The stuff is really friendly and every corner in the hotel deserves a picture!

This property is classic!! WOW. You enter the lobby and you've got the gilded appearance. The bar? The same. There is a fantastic Indian restaurant.......so great. And then.....the hotel! This is an aging beauty, okay? You are going to hold hands with an actress who was once so beautiful, but she is showing her age. This doesn't make it a... More

Originally used to be the rest house of Khedive Ismail for him and his companions while hunting in desert around Giza pyramids in 1860s. However, this place was eventually prepared for guests at the inaugural celebrations for the Suez Canal. Later this house was sold to the private couple, who gave it its name – Mena – after first pharaoh... More

This review is another of the "better late than never" variety. Hopefully, despite the political meltdown in Egypt, the Mena House remains the same. We stayed one night in April, 2013 as part of an two day tour from Alexandria and if I ever return to Egypt the Mena House will be on my must do list. Our spacious and... More

The views of the pyramids, the late dinner with the frank sinatra style singer, it is just stunning inside, friendly and clean. This hotel was I believe the old MGM horse stables, and to be honest it is so luxe and sexy, it has so many little places to...
