The building itself is situated in Giza rather than Cairo. We figured out that even white taxis have trouble finding it, though the arabic "how-to" we were given helped them a lot. The area around the hotel is a great reality check for people coming from the western part of Europe or even from the USA, so be warned and... More

After reading some of the negative reviews about this hotel I really don't understand what some people expect. My girlfriend and I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and the reason we keep coming back here whenever we're in Cairo is because this hotel is excellent, considering what you pay. we usually spend about $300 for a seven... I could not tolerate more than half an hour and I ran away although I have payed the money in advance. When we arrived , there was no body to carry our luggage from the taxi . In the reception we did not find anybody and waited 10 minutes for the man to come . My wife asked for the... More

The location is the big disadvantage of the hotel. located in the Giza area who are poor and dirty. Litter and dung of camels are found everywhere in the surrounding streets.People stare like you're aliens and do not feel safe. The hotel is quite clean and quiet. employees are polite. We stayed two nights and unfortunately the last, gunfire sounded in... More

Stayed here in April and was surprised the pool was still empty for maintainence. (The pool was operating when we stayed on the return trip) Rooms are a good size and open toward the pool area. Restaurant and hotel are not decorated in anyway Egyptian and food quite western. The breakfast was cold each day. But above all, the staff... More

The rooms are incredible with beautiful balconies. The swimming pool area is excellent and kept clean. Room service and restaurant also excellent. The sound of traffic is completely cut off by the smart design of the hotel. Some of the structures have seen better days and there is no interesting things within walking distance

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The rooms were rundown and the furniture needed a complete overhaul. While I was there the pool was being serviced so you could not chill out in the pool. From the pictures and of course the name of the hotel, lead to believe that the hotel is close to the Pyramids. WELL... More
