Upon arriving in Egypt we were a bit weary about safety, however once we arrived at InterContinental Pyramids Park we were taken care of very well! The first time we checked-in it took awhile and we had to sit in the lounge to wait for our room - just to warn you, there is A LOT of smoking here! The... more

I stayed here with family on a tour of egypt. The hotel is spread widely as one can see in the photos. Just walking around the hotel will take you some time. The rooms are very spacious and comforting. The overall layout of the hotel was what impressed me. The pool is a big one and can accomodate a lot... more

Stayed here for 2 nights after a NIle Cruise as part of a Multi Centre holiday that we booked with Preferred Egypt, primarily to see the Pyramids. Although the hotel was not the most flash or modern I have ever stayed in, the value for money was very good, as we had paid a minimal amount to add on the... more

I stayed at this hotel in October 2008 for three nights as part of a choral singing holiday organised by Specialised Travel. It is elegant, spacious and has beautiful well-kept gardens with a lovely swimming pool. The bedrooms were in separate blocks a short walk through the delightful grounds and there is a choice of restaurants. Breakfast is in an... more

This is a very disappointing hotel with standards far ffar below what you would expect, both of a 4* hotel and the InterContinental group. My wife and I stayed at the hotel at the beginning and end of a 10 day tour of Egypt. We are experienced travellers in Africa and Asia so are realistic about standards - basic is... more

This is as good a hotel as any if you plan to stay in Giza . Its just a few mins drive from the pyramids . In terms of price quite reasonable considering there are the marriots and the oberois all located within the same area . The rooms are nice and spacious with heating and Ac facilty . The... more

This is a good hotel for beginning tour to the pyramids and Sakkara. The grounds are lovely and if you want to sit around a pool this may be your ideal place. The rooms can be a very long walk from the lobby, especially at the end of a long day of sightseeing. It's also a long walk to the... more

Not a 5 star hotel as noted in its lobby. Hotel has not undergone renovations in some 20+ years (looks like your back in the Brady Bunch era without the cleanliness). Hotel charges $22US dollars per day for internet. Taxi to downtown will run you $30US dollars and take you an hour. Book on your own risk. more

If this was my first visit to an Intercontinental Hotel... uau, sure it would be the last. Too expensive for a 3*** - it should be named as Holiday Inn or similar. Stayed on the hotel after a cruise on the Nile . Nice lobby, room in a good size and has nice gardens but, the chairs on the room´s... more

We wanted to stay close to the Pyramids and booked the hotel through the official Intercontinental website. We were taken aback on arriving at the property: it looked unkempt and not five star quality at all. The staff only made it worse- they would not even honour the rate that we got on the website ( we had prints of... more
