This hotel do not send your postcards. The service at the restaurant is very slow, and they do not have many of the dishes or beverages on the menu card. It is a very noisy hotel because of the traffic. On the positive side: there is a roof top terrace where you can see the pyramids far away. The window... More

The hotel is located downtown, in the middle of a slum area - very noisy - there is nothing within walking distance of this hotel, besides a store selling water & cooldrinks. On the rooftop - pool area you able to see the Great Pyramids of Giza in the far distance! its worth the trip to Maadi city centre shopping... More

I stayed here last week and oh my god never again. Food was awful, not friendly and in the middle of a slum, was not happy. More

from door men to being invited to join in a traditional egyptian wedding, the service was impeccible. Yes, it is in downtown Cairo.. but if you are looking for sparkling clean streets, then perhaps egypt is not a destination for you. i loved waking up to the view on my balcony of the real giza life, overseen by the pyramids... Reasonable level of service throughout stay. Wait staff always pleasant, however they had great difficulty at times understanding english language. Rooms were typical of 2/3 star hotel. A good clean would make a hec of a difference. Not the best location, away from all the action of Cairo. Able to see the Nile River from the roof bar/pool area. Roof... More

Stayed at the Swiss Inn for three days in January. We decided for the hotel due to the really good rate and the close location (15min taxi) to the pyramids. Walking to downtown (Egypt. Museum etc.) is possible (1hr), but you might rather take a taxi. Rooms were relatively clean and house keeping came in every day of our stay.... More

Stayed in this hotel with a tour group - once at the beginning and at the end. The secret here is to obtain a room near the top floor, the higher up you go the better the rooms are. Yes the smell is the downside of staying here - not sure why the owner does not address this problem -... More

One of the worst experience ever at this hotel..the hotel manager didn't allow us for early check-in despite vacant rooms and asked for $150 for 3 hours!! We had to sit in the reception area for 3 hours. This hotel is situated around the most ugly part of Cairo and one sees only garbage around and foul smell in the... More

tayed in a suite room which was clean, spacious and value for money. Nice view from room although balcony was useless for us as it was tiny and not safe for my toddler 8 floors up with a straight drop down and a noisy+busy road below. Service was fine as expected from a 3 star hotel. Pool was tiny and... More
