The hotel was good, also the breakfast. It's quiet on that high floor which is really very important. Because there are low budget hotels in Cairo in which you won't sleep before 2 A.M. because of the tumult in the streets. The 2 men who run this hostel are very nice, friendly and helpful. The only improvement I think they... More

I stayed at Osiris hotel for 9 nights. I had some business to do in Egypt and needed to keep costs down. I chose well! It is billed as a French hotel but Naqib and his brother Magde speak excellent English. Do not be put off by the dark and gloomy entrance to the commercial building where the hotel is... More

My partner and I stayed here in early January 2015. We arrived late at night and due to the security at the end of the road it was a little difficult to locate the hotel. Once we did locate the hotel we were very happy to be inside. We liked that it is located on a higher floor, out above... More

There are plenty of 5-star hotel options in Cairo but review of budget hotels are mixed on TA. After reviewing several options carefully, we decided to go wth Osiris Hotel and we are pleased with our choice. Here are the reasons why you should choose Osiris: 1. Room: clean and comfortable room; 2. View of Cairo skyline: you can enjoy... More

We were very pleased with our stay in Osiris - the owner is very helpful, his brother is very nice, the rooms are clean and cozy, there is a very nice terrace on the roof... We had a great stay there (me and my boyfriend) and we would definitely recommend it! It's a place where you can stay with your... More

I agree with the other reviews. This hotel is modest, well situated and the owners very friendly. Cairo is a bit intimidating for Canadians, but this hotel was relaxing and reassuring, we liked it. gggg

This boutique hotel is located on the top floor of an office building. Stepping out of the rather dingy elevator you enter a lovely large common area with traditional Egyptian décor. The owner and his brother are super welcoming and helpful. The full breakfast was lovely on a nice enclosed porch. The room was spacious and clean. The upstairs terrasse... More

We had a great experience at Osiris hotel. It is very clean and in a great location - walking distance to tahrir square. Magdy who ran the hotel while we were there helped us with a day trip to the pyramids and everyday getting around in Cairo and beyond. Seemed very interested in making sure we had a good time... What a find the Osiris Hotel is. It is centrally located, so a few minutes only from the wonders of the Archaeological Museum in Tahrir Square, the shops, street stalls and restaurants around Falaki Square. Metred taxis abound in the nearby streets to it is easy to get anywhere, even through the crush of Cairene traffic. The Hotel occupies the... More
