We had a great experience at Osiris hotel. It is very clean and in a great location - walking distance to tahrir square. Magdy who ran the hotel while we were there helped us with a day trip to the pyramids and everyday getting around in Cairo and beyond. Seemed very interested in making sure we had a good time... What a find the Osiris Hotel is. It is centrally located, so a few minutes only from the wonders of the Archaeological Museum in Tahrir Square, the shops, street stalls and restaurants around Falaki Square. Metred taxis abound in the nearby streets to it is easy to get anywhere, even through the crush of Cairene traffic. The Hotel occupies the... More

Great situation,a 5 min walk fromTahrir Sq,the Egyptian museum and downtown Cairo. As quiet as Cairo can be.The rooms are spotless,(some with balconies),with comfortable beds and good bathroom facilities.Breakfast is served with great views over the city from the rooftop. The staff are amiable and helpful, always ready to give advice. They can also organize airport transfers and sightseeing trips without hidden extras and... A great downtown Cairo option. On the 12th floor of a busy area, it's loud etc, but it's downtown Cairo. Accomodations are basic, but rooms are very clean, and spacious. Nabil and Magdi are super helpful hosts, you can have a room with a balcony (adviseable). Everything downtown for business/tourism is easily walkable. If you're visiting Cairo, why stay in... More

Amenities are basic, so be prepared for that, but if you are, then this hotel is just perfect. Minutes walk from Tahrir Square, and a stunning view from the rooftop (and from our balcony - we spent ages out there people-watching), it has everything you need for a short stay. The interior is filled with interesting decor and has a... More

We stayed here for two nights upon our arrival in Cairo. This is a very basic hotel, but is clean, with friendly staff and a safe and inviting interior. The hotel is on a dead end street (meaning you have at least a few metres before having to dodge Cairo's traffic) and is located close to the museum and Tahrir... More

This is a welcoming 12th floor hotel in central Cairo just a few minutes walk from Tahrir Sqaure and conveniently close to the shopping district, museum and metro station. We came into Cairo by train and it was very easy to use the metro to get to Osiris. The staff are caring, welcoming and helped organize transport to the pyramids... More

The best aspect of this hotel is the great view of downtown Cairo if you happen to have a room with a balcony which we had. Breakfeasts were truly mediocre; very slow service and very poor fare, coffee was especially bad. Wifi in the common area only which was surprising as we paid 40 euros a night for the room.... More
