Hotel Longchamps is a must if you are traveling to Cairo. First, Cairo is an extremely noisy city (Think car horns. Lots and lots of car horns) but Hotel Longchamps is located in quiet Zamalek and the hotel is on the fifth and six floors of a building so it is far removed from the noise of the city. The... More

we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. the room was very good, large for the price we paid. everything was spotless. hotel is located near everything-several restaurants [abou el sid, taboon, zooba, rigoletto] within walking distance. sharia 26th of july has exchange places, banks, fruit shops, juice bars again within walking distance. Ms Hebba Bakri is owner who arranged for... More

Never thought that in a city like Cairo you could find a 3 star hotel so quaint, so clean and with such genuine hospitality and all this in one of the best locations in the heart of Zamalek. Also worth mentioning is the amazing breakfast. It includes almost anything one would expect from one of the bigger American hotel chains.... More

The perfect base for business or pleasure in Cairo. Very safe, on a quiet residential street in Zamalek. Courteous staff, fabulous breakfast, clean and well - appointed rooms. I've been recommending this hotel to friends and family for years and on a recent stay was pleased to see the standard of service continues to excel. Highly recommended.

A great hotel in the heart of Zamalek. I stayed for over a week and it was a perfect base camp for explorations throughout Cairo. The room I stayed in was clean, quiet and had a wonderful balcony. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The hotel also supplied drivers for my trip to see the pyramids--very helpful and it... More

A rare mid-range hotel in Cairo. Well located in the neighbourhood of Zamalek. Nicely decorated, lovely terrace and extremely helpful staff. Good selection at breakfast. Only drawback is no pool or exercise facilities.

I really recommend this charming, old-fashioned hotel. I was in Cairo for a wedding and Hebba and her staff looked after us like family, including making sure we got to the wedding on time! The area has interesting craft and jewellery shops, a market (good for spices), and the tree-lined streets abound with the faded elegance of colonial style villas.... More

Two years after my parents visited Cairo and had a lovely stay in Longchamps, I stayed here when I moved back to Egypt to continue my research. Longchamps was the perfect home base, the perfect Cairo home in which I could live and work until moving into my more permanent residence. Thank you, Longchamps, for offering Cairo-Euro hospitality. The best... More

I have been attending quite a few private and business events in the 'Longchamps' and felt always extremely comfortable, with both the serve attitude and the quality of food and beverages. The owner and manager, Hebba Bakry, runs this nice little hotel in a perfect way, paying greatest attention to the well-being of her guests. A strong recommendation.

I stayed at the Hotel Longchamps for one night and could not have found a nicer hotel centrally located on Zamalek. It has charm, warmth and a friendly atmosphere. The staff are always smiling, helpful and welcoming. The room was newly refurbished and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable bed and the bathroom very stylish with all amenities in... More
