The Oasis is my favourite hotel in Cairo. Its garden rooms give one a great sense of calm and space amidst the hustle and bustle of Cairo. It has two or three decent restaurants on site, and has a very nice swimming pool. The Oasis is ideally located if you are thinking of visiting the Pyramids (and let's face it,... more

We visited this hotel as part of our tour to Egypt and had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and spacious and the whole garden area was very peaceful and pleasant. There was an excellant Shopping Arcade, where many of us bought some excellent souvenirs at pretty reasonable prices. We were quite close to the Pyramids... more

My wife and I were at the Oasis for 2 nights ..albeit short to check out all facilities but nevertheless quiet and comfortable after the heat, noise and dust of cairo sightseeing. Both days ..proximity to pyramids was a definite plus. After the fatigue of the day , having a poolside ambience with a varied menu(chinese, indian, mexican) was a positive. Didnt get... more

Stayed here for 3 nights as per of a multi centred holiday. Very good location - only 10 mins from the pyramids which stick out for the hustle and bustle of Cairo and Giza. Service also very good, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nice to have a cold Stella (Egyptian beer!) by the pool after a knackering day in Cairo... more

We've spent there 2 nights, be we would like to stay longer if it would have been possible... We were totally satisfied with Oasis! Rooms and bathrooms in the bungalows are spacious, food is really good and there's quite big assortment, employees are at your disposal all the time... And the garden is amazingly beautiful and groomed! more

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous but I would not recommend it for a lengthy stay if you don't like constant large tour groups coming/going all of the time. Positives: -Beautiful appearance -Tennis courts, basketball courts, pool, etc. -Clean room with comfortable bed/shower -2 restaurants & nightclub (although not lively) -Perfectly manicured landscape -Pizza, Chinese food, and Middle Eastern food available... more

Oasis is a decent hotel, exactly as it says it is on its website so you won't get any nasty shocks when you get there! We stayed there for 2 nights at start of trip and 1 at end so we had two different rooms - the 1st was a bit old and the bathroom was a bit tired but... more

Stayed with my wife at start and end of a Group Tour of Egypt. Rooms are layed out as terraced chalets overlooking quiet grassed squares dotted with a few trees and tables and chairs, and the odd bird dropping in for a snack from the bird feeders (never crowded, except by biting insects). No background music, other than a distant... more

The Hotel itself is not situated in a convenient location for shops or restaurants so you are a little tied to the complex itself, but despite this it has everything you need, and is very clean and relaxing. There is a gift shop adjacent to the car park, but quite basic and the gifts quite expensive, although you can haggle... more

We would not hesitate to recommend this amazing hotel. It is very clean, food is very good and not expensive (if you avoid the buffet), service is excellent and standards are generally very high. Compared to some 5 star hotels in Cairo, service at the Oasis is much better. Free bus into Cairo is great - only takes around 30... more
