If you want only to sleep in hotel, like me, this hotel will be a good choice. I know why somebody give this hotel 1 or 2 stars. At first, they gave me a room without view and without a good flow to shower. While I complained to the manager about that, he gave me another room, without any word.... more

First: THIS IS A THREE STARS HOTEL. You sure cannot review it by comparing it to other hotels like hilton, four seasons, hyatt, which price is indeed ten or more times larger. I was on a businness trip to attend a conference. I could book it with very short advance spending very little money (27 € / night). It is... more

I don't know who is writing the 4 or 5 star reviews. Must be relatives of the management. This is by far and away the worst hotel I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in a few in my time. We generally try to stay in 3 and 4 star hotels when we intend to be out and about touring.... more

A very quiet and clean hotel close to the centre of Cairo. Great views of the sunset over the nile, and excellent value. more

This hotel represents tremendous value for money. To the negative reviewers: you really cant expect to compare it to the Marriott when you are paying one fifth of the price! The breakfast at the Marriott costs about the same as your room and breakfast here! The rooms vary, so ask to change if you're not happy. The staff are always... more

I don’t know where some of the other reviewers have stayed in the past that gave this hotel four or five stars but I would not want to stay in a place they thought was marginal. I hope Trip Advisor is making sure these ratings aren’t coming from travel agents or hired hotel writers. Our group of 17 travelers was... more

We were quite cynical after reading the negative feedback but we were in for a shock. The staff were very very pleasant and helpful and we had an amazing room with a huge balcony looking over the city. Although the room was not modern-it was very clean and comfortable and we always had a good nights sleep in the beds.... more

We were extremely pleased with our 5 day stay at the President. It was more comfortable then another much more expensive 5 star hotel we stayed at in Egypt. Don't be discouraged by the negative reviews on this site. Due to them, we were a little skeptical, but were pleasantly surprised. We had two different rooms, the large room with... more

We stayed there for 8 nights, and found it to be perfect for us. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but for an old building it is very well kept-up. Our room was large, the service was great, the food was excellent, and the location is right in the middle of Cairo-easy to get anywhere you want. Lots... more
