The Windsor is a wonderful hotel. Well located in downtown Cairo on a little street near loads of shopping, it is also close to the metro for further destinations. The only thing that would make someone book this hotel is that they want to stay somewhere interesting. It's old and quite curious. The lounge and dining room is all things British Colonial and you can sit around and drink at the bar until pretty late in noire-ish grandeur.
