At same price, when you can get better hotel and place at city towers Intercontinental then why stay at this old hotel; Any positive review to this hotel, only when you not seen or stayed in intercontinental hotel. I moved here today but now decided to move out.. Nothing close to luxury and just a motel more

Meridien Heliopolis is perhaps the safest place to stay in Cairo, used by many VIP guests due to it's safety. The hotel is more than a decent place to stay, also at a good price. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The thai restaurant is excellent, even though the only one that you really can eat. The area that is located is very nice, as it is very close to the airport and Heliopolis is probably the best place... more

place is great compared to few others there but ive heard the new one is even better .food is over rated the pool is great.you rather eat food in a famous mall at a 20 min drive from there call city-star you can shop also there a lotttt try the local cabs but make sure you know what to pay... more

only good thing about this hotel is near airport. thai restaurant is excellent food and service front office staff nice except on royal club floor need to learn more english and manner The staff on royal club floors need to back to trainning again. They seem to be lazy and lay back. They should go home and sleep i guess... more

Only stayed one night and hotel was very nice. The entry, reception and restaurants were all very nice. My only complant was that we were in a triple room and they didn't have the bed set up when we arrived. We had to wait for the staff to install the bed after we've arrived. One of the most positive aspect of this hotel was that it was conveniently located near the airport and offered hourly transportation to the airport.
