It is the perfect place to stay while you are in Cairo. It is only 7 minutes or even less away from the airport. The service is excellent , staff are always smiling, great rooms with balcony over looking the golf and the swimming pools. I really enjoyed the food especially the Italian restaurant. more

Visited for a long weekend and have already recommended to many friends. We were lucky enough to get upgraded to a suite upon our arival by staff that were only too happy to help. The duplex suite we were shown to had great views over the golf course - which is a fantastic facility and very well maintained! There are... more

I have been working in Cairo since February, and have just moved out of the JW Marriott into an apartment. Physically the hotel is pretty nice. The reception/public areas are very ornate, and the bedrooms are fine - especially the bathrooms. Outside, there is a nice swimming pool/beach area, and a good 18 hole golf course. The problems come, however,... more

A lovely place to stay, if you have your own transport, as the hotel is about 45 minutes from Cairo city centre. However, the hotel is close to the airport, about 10 to 15 minutes away. Everything is great in this hotel. It has a small water park, a beautiful spa that has just been built, with heated indoor pool.... more

I live in Cairo and am a member of the health club at this hotel. A warning to all who stay here and use the gym facilities. While it is a very nice gym there is a thief on staff, or,if for some reason a person staying at a five star hotel suddenly felt the need to steal a wallet,... more

The hotel itself is quite lovely and clean - there is a large selection of restaurants and the rooms are very nice. However, I was very disappointed with the service from staff. Our friends went to the conceirge to get a taxi to the airport... There are 3 different types; black and white (standard taxi), yellow (metered taxi) and the... more

I just returned from a 4 night stay at the JW Marriott Cairo. When I reached my next destination the following day I felt very itchy and uncomfortable and discovered about 30 bedbug bites along the entire right side of my body (the side I slept on). My coworker, who was upgraded to a suite because he was a "gold"... more

Using Marriott Rewards points, we booked 2 nights on-line about a month ago, and checked in last week. This property is way, way off the beaten path, about 45 minutes outside the city center, but near the airport. Our check-in did not go well. The front desk attendant tried to lie to me about our reservation, telling me he had... more
