If you need to be in the Maadi district of Cairo this is a great hotel to stay at - excellent service, great rooms, wonderfully comfortable beds, very good breakfast, quiet and comfortable. This sofitel is a bit worn and in use of an upgrade. Given the ditance and traffic conditions in Cairo, I would only stay here again if I had business in the immediate Maadi area. One can get a better deal on a newer, better hotel in other areas. More
