It is a 5-star hotel but honestly it deserves 3 at the best. Not that there is anything totally wrong with this hotel, but it is NOT the posh place it pretends to be. Hotel is nice enough.Just make sure to book or upgrade to high floor nile view room.Sunset is fantastic,with giza and sakkarah pyramids in distance.Staff in Pullman bar friendly and good fun.Try Fish Market by the nile for great food.There is a supermarket to right of hotel ,as you leave reception,supplies most things.Taxi to airport about £15 max,try to avoid rush... more

on nile. pool is fine. you do get good sunsets at pool and can see pyramids in very far distance. room was spacious, darkly decorated, comfy bed, nice enough bathroom and toiletries with no nile view. basic breakfast. didn't see many guests at hotel more
