Speak to the host/owner, Adel, you'll be able to firm up a good trip around Cairo. Before my arrival, I've been in touch with him via email "travelershousehotel@yahoo.com". Good response time from him too. I did a layover at Cairo to visit the pyramids. Airport transfer was arranged with the host as I do not want to haggle outside for... More

This place has the feel of a hostel, and the rooms are fairly run down. Stayed here for one night. Had a private room with bathroom. A/C did work. Positives: Breakfast was simple but delicious - falafel and fuul sandwiches Very helpful and friendly staff Good location, about a 10 minute walk to Tahrir Square, Egyptian Museum etc. Potential Negatives:... Travelers House is an excellent place to stay. The staff are not only highly knowledgeable, they also go out of their way to welcome and support you. On both my stays I've felt like I've been treated as a family member, not only a guest. The hostel is centrally located, great value, and clean. Whatever you're looking to see or... More

The atmosphere is excellent, and the rooms are basic, nice and clean (good beds). From the balconies from the... More

And it was very easy to reach sightseeing places in Cairo too. The room was clean and nice, the bed... More
