I feel awful that it has taken me so long to review this wonderful place. I love the Bella Luna. I have stayed in so many budget hostels in Cairo and had pretty much resigned myself to just accepting that on my budget every place I stay in Cairo would be noisy and pretty grungy. But then I found the... More

I have been visiting Cairo for some years and always stay in the Luna, once for 6 weeks! I have never had a problem of any kind, nor have any friends that have stayed there. The staff and management are professional, friendly and helpful. Booking and transport always spot-on.The location great for going out and exploring this amazing city. It... More

Room was good, at the back it was quiet, mine had a balcony. It's clean and the staff are nice. The entrance to the building is a bit grotty but once out of the lift upstairs everything was fine. Breakfast is standard. Trip to the airport was 75EGP.

We were foolish to trust the 4 star rating on Tripadvisor; we should have read the reviews in more detail. As with Zach and Rajeev, the owner "Mr. Hany" tried to con us. We booked a tour of the city through him and paid him 25% up front so he could make arrangements he said. When the time for our... More

I think it is clear, that all this is just Ofterot and lies. It is surprising me that, he did 1 comment only for our place and show how its a lies (a Nazi person). I hope the managment of the Tripadvisor take an action for that, specialy that This incident did not happend in our place. More

vivid cairo , this little hotel is like an oasis in the desert. The staff is very kind and always ready to answer to all your questions. We went there after the second revolution in Egypt, on 5th september 2013 but we felt very safe. From there you can reach by feet the Egyptian Museum in tahrir square and also... More

Location, location, location. The best location for a hotel in Cairo. Close to banks, a mall, restaurants and the Museo. Agree with another review, the entrance is quite creepy, but is not a big deal. The staff is great. Ahmad is awesome, he help us a lot to plan our days around Cairo. I do have to say the plumbing... Two weeks ago I spent another three days at Luna on a visit to Cairo. The hotel was comfortable and pleasant and the staff congenial, as always. In the lobby, the radio softly playing Western classical music has lately been replaced by the usual jabbering TV, bringing the atmosphere down a notch. Luna is about a ten-minute walk from Tahrir... This small budget hotel is ideally located in downtown Cairo on a very lively avenue. Staff is wonderful, always ready to help and make you feel at home. Breakfeasts are included in the room rate and decent enough for Egypt. Our room was large and airy. But the sleep quality was mediocre for two important reasons; one, the mattress on... More

I stayed at the Bella Luna Hotel for 3 nights, it is very good value for money and the cleanliness and facilities are good for a budget hotel. The staff are friendly but not too in your face or pushy- they will help you arrange tours if thats what you want (we opted to sort our own stuff out) and... More

This place is on the 5th floor in the downtown area of cairo. The celling hight is great, the rooms are lived in. While the hotel is clean there is an air of grubyness to the place. The staff are helpful, if at times a little pushy. Being on the fifth floor there can be issues with the hot water... More
