We stayed 5 nights at the Cairo Palace Hotel, on our first visit to Cairo. We haven't stayed elsewhere (except one night in the desert!), so we cannot compare it to other hotels. We booked through booking.com, but when we arrived, the 2 rooms we requested were not available (they tried to let us know by email), so they offered... More

Travelled and visited several times between September & December 2011. This hotel was a great way to ease into my sojourns around the middle east. Breakfast was simple but comfortable, WiFi was good in the communal areas but poor in the rooms, the bathrooms were basic with limited hot water but good and clean by local standards. The best two... Centrally located downtown Cairo. Despite all the turmoil in Cairo at this time the staff of this place went to extraordinary lengths to provide for our comfort, security and pleasure. They pampered us to the max. They are hurting with the Cairo revolution problems but they make tremendous effort to please their guests. Mahmoud was very professional and accomodating. Hope... More

We stayed for 2 nights at Le Village du Toubkal & Spa and found the staff to be very helpful and polite. We were half board which I highly recommend as the breakfast and were very satisfied with the kind of service provided, thank you so much mahmoud

I first stayed here for 10 nights in 2010 when i was in cairo on business and returned last month for another 3 nights break before heading off to a red sea resort. It's in the heart of downtown cairo so a good base for getting out and about. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and can arrange... More

We stayed at Cairo Palace Hotel three separate times in December and January for a total of five nights. The location is excellent for discovering downtown Cairo and taking the metro to see sights around the city. The hospitality we received from Cairo Palace Staff was excellent. Muhammad, Mohey, and staff are helpful and friendly. For example, Mohey wrote us... More

Good, family run hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms were basic but clean. Breakfast is just bread, butter, jam and tea/coffee. But overall hotel was good value for money. Wi fi works well in the lobby (not in the rooms). AC - essential in summer works well. Room had comfortable beds. Sometimes slightly noisy but perfectly tolerable.

There was no car to collect us from the airport but we were prepared for that by previous contributors. First impressions are bad. The area is scruffy and hotel frontage is awful. However it is central, 20 minutes walk to the Museum. When we went in they did not seem to know we were coming but they were very friendly... More

We had a good stay at the Cairo Palace. Friendly staff, clean rooms, simple breakfast and very good atmosphere. Great value for money. It's like the fairy from Alladin, behind the old gate there is a hidden treasure. Staffmember Mohey is a really friendly guy who does everything to make your stay in Cairo a good experience. Always laughing and... More
