We came across this hotel by chance. We were asked by a gentleman in the street if I wanted to go on any tours etc. In the end, I managed to orgnaise a van to the red sea, 2 nights at the Cairo Inn and a taxi to tha airport resulting from that meeting. Anyway, the Cairo Inn is very... More

The location to the Hotel is great, close to everything but so are the other ( better) hostels or hotels around the area. Freedom Hostel and City View Hotel are just 2 examples. The rooms in Cairo Inn are old and barely acceptable. I arranged to stay the night but cancelled my stay due to the owner scamming me into... More

We happened to find this hotel when we were just strolling around the Tahrir Square area. The hotel is excellent in terms of location as well as the prices. We stayed here 2wice. First in room no 2, which was kind of luxurious, with en suite facilities and later after arrival from luxor we stayed in another room with no... More

I stayed here for 5 nights in January 2013. I've spent 10 days in Cairo before and wanted to be near (but not on) Tahrir Square this time around. I like the main shopping street Talaat Harb and this hotel is 2 blocks away from Tahrir Square and right on Midan Talaat Harb. I booked this hotel so that I... More

This hotel wasn't booked by me, but it was central and convenient! The price can't be disputed or could the friendly and helpful nature of the staff! As other reviews have stated, if you want to experience the downtown hustle and bustle, convenience was great, but trying to sleep is a real issue because Cairo IS a noisy non stop... More

The room was alright for the budget traveler, don't expect anything past a bed, blanket, and pillow. My room specifically had a strange odor. Watch out for the scams. Upon check-in the owner will bring you to the hotel shop located around the corner of the street. He claims to be a farmer which is just one of the many... More

Only stayed here for the one night, and honestly wish I could've stayed for longer. Unbeatable location, friendly staff who offered me fresh mint tea, shisha and wonderful conversation for free. Eid is a great chap, happy to go out of his way to help you with whatever. Spotless rooms, great breakfast, comfortable balcony overlooking downtown Cairo... You couldn't ask... More

We would definitely stay here again. Perfect location, standard rooms, free wifi, private bathroom, cheap price. Perfect. Loved sitting on the communal balcoby watching the busy square. Yes it's noisy at night but that's awesome! Cairo is such a great place can't understand why people would complain about that.... They will remind you that they own the local bazaar too,... More

We did not stay in Cairo Inn but engaged its travel services. We were offered what seemed like a good deal at LE 220 for a day of guided tour to Giza, Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur. And we were promised the flexibility to adjust the time spent at each site - of course provided it was well within a day.... More

I did not stay in Cairo Inn but signed up the Cairo Inn travel service We negotiated with Cairo Inn 220 LE for a taxi to bring us a day of pyramid tour, which included Giza, Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur. It was agreed that a aircon car will pick us up at 8:00 in the morning. We were promised that... More
