This is a mixed quality budget hotel. The pros are the location and the staff. The cons are the location and general condition. We paid about USD 40 per night for a large room with ensuite bath, full size bed and twin size bed. The beds were very soft. The room had a large refrigerator, a large armoire, a small... more

We spent four nights at Isis. It's not a bad budget option. I'm briefly going to summarise the pros and cons of staying there. Pros: -Free pick up from airport. -Good location in downtown area; near Egyptian museum. -Good view of Cairo (Isis is on the 15th floor of a building. -Free internet access. -Rooms cleaned regularly. -Free tea! Cons:... more

We booked this hotel based on price and reviews on tripadvisor. It is central to many locations and provides the basic necessities for your stay. It reminds me of a bed and breakfast. It has a nice casual atmosphere. For what it lacks in 5-star moderness, it makes up for it with the people. It would be hard to beat... more

The Isis is on the 15th floor of a block in downtown Cairo. It's location is very convenient for the major sights and shopping areas. In fact, you can see the Nile (and the busy traffic) from the family rooms we stayed in. It's great value for money, breakfast and the rooms are basic , but generous. The hotel is... more

The staff in the hotel are very friendly, almost like family. I stayed here several nights and arranged a trip to south Egypt at a very good price. They were checking my schedule every day to make sure I was being satisfied. All people involved in my trip were very professional so evrything came out perfect and really better than... more

Hotel staff have been very helpfull to us with information to help us complete our travel plans, both through hotel organised trips and also advising us on our independent travel. We have also found them very friendly giving us tips on the best areas to spend our time in the city and the prices to expect to pay for taxi's... more

We stayed at the ISIS in April 09. We booked 3 nights, for a room with an ensuite bathroom. Since we stayed 3 nights we were given free taxi service from the airport which was waiting for us on our arrival. We had to make a 15 minute stop with our taxi driver who had to pick up a family... more

We booked our Egypt tour from Germany. Our contact to Mr. Hamada from Isis Hotel in Cairo helped us a lot! He is the hotel owner and did all arrangements for us. We travelled all over Egypt and everything worked perfectly. The Isis hotel itsself is a very good place to relax. The people are very helpful and friendly. We... more

Travelling were 3 20-something teachers backpacking in school holidays. The hotel looks quite intimidating as you walk in and take the dodgy looking lift to floor 15 of the building, However if you can get past that, the staff are really kind and caring. We stayed there for 3 nights, the rooms are clean and breakfast is filling. They will... more

ISIS hotel is only 1 minute away from Arabesque and Invitation hotel. Basically, these these 3 accomodations have the same location, standards, and provide the same services. I booked the Tour to visit "Pyramids, Sphinx, Saqqara, and Memphis" at ISIS hotel for $20 dollars, and I want to advise all of you that NEVER book any "private" tours with these... more
