I stayed here for 7 days and it was the best home away from home hospitality. The staff, Amy, Leena and the team were very friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast was absolutely fantastic and it has one of the best fitness centers in Seoul. The rooms, fully furnished, comfy beds and clean linens. One of the best fitness centers in... More

As a frequent traveler, I have found that the difference between a good and a great hotel boils down to one thing - SERVICE. Often, one tends to take this for granted and instead, be mesmerized by the "bling-bling" and glitz of the lobby / rooms. MEA Seoul is an excellent full service hotel which offers very nice and comfortable... More

Visited Korea late Dec/early January for a family function. Got to spend the second week at this hotel. Let me tell you. It was absolutely AMAZING. The staff alone was worth the visit. Never have I had the pleasure of interacting with so many friendly, helpful and accommodating staff members. As an American abroad who only spoke three phrases of... More

This hotel is one of the best Marriott hotels that I've stayed in so far. My room basically have everything you need in an apartment and more. There's also a gym, spa, restaurant, café and convenience store in the building. I believe the hotel is more catered for business travelers - the location is in the business district. It's a... First off I will say that we won a free stay after staying at the Marriott Times Square the previous night. As we were Marriott card members we were offered a basket with 400 cards in, and to take one. I picked out a card, scratched it and it said I'd won a free executive night at this hotel. There... Stayed here several times over the years. Stayed at many of the other supposedly upscale competitors and hands down I always go back to Marriott Exec. Rooms are apartment style - well appointed and very clean. Great gym, two good western restaurants in the basement, indoor driving range. Property is immaculate but it is a bit isolated from the more... More

I've just returned from Seoul and staying at the Marriott. The apartments are beautiful - it was great to have a living room to relax in and a kitchen. The bed was huge and the bathroom was lovely (great shower). Wifi was fast. Breakfast is fantastic with so many options from Western to Asian and everything in between. Try the... More

This hotel is within a building with office, condos and retail establishments. The entrance is on the side street and easy to miss. Even the lobby is on the side and not readily visible. Once you are through all that it's great! Staff is very courteous and professional. I stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and it was fabulous. The... More

Staying in Yeoido

Neighborhood Profile
Yeoido
Along with Gangnam and Samseongdong, Yeoido completes the trifecta of Seoul’s three main business districts. Steel and glass towers are the most visible sights, reflecting Yeoido’s general association as a business hub. But Yeoido is also where Korea’s laws are debated and enacted by Korea’s legislators within the iconic National Assembly Building. For an escape from urban life, the Yeouido Hangang Park is one of the most popular parks along the Han River for Seoulites. Each spring, cherry blossom trees go into full bloom and the sight of the rows of pink trees and cherry blossom petals blowing in the air is a magical one that shouldn’t be missed if your timing is right.
