After a long, gruelling journey through the Stans, we arrived in Seoul for a 36 hour stopover and chose to stay at this hotel because of the positive reviews we had read. The hotel lives up to its reputation. In fact, it was a welcomed respite after 5 weeks in some sparse Central Asian inns. I agree the neighbourhood it... more

I stayed at this hotel as an extended layover from a business trip in Mongolia. Everything was great about this hotel except for one thing. I couldn't control the temperature in the room. It was late Feb, and the hotel still had the heat blasting, with no way to turn it down or off. I was provided with a fan... more

This hotel, while not right in the middle of the action, is well situated to access all the main sites in Seoul. Seoul is a very safe city and, as a woman traveling alone, I had no reservations about walking everywhere. When I was too tired to walk anymore, I never paid more than a few dollars for my taxi... more

We stayed here since we needed free internet access and other 'nicer' hotels charged for it. But after staying here I would consider it one of the nicer hotels. It was great; it had everything we needed and a great price! We could see the Seoul Tower out our windows and the rooms were very clean and modern. There's a... more

The Best Western Kukdo is a new hotel with the BW Premiere designation and it is a very nice hotel. My queen bedded room wasn't large, but it was comfortable, had an easy chair, large work surface, comfortable bed. All that you need. While I was there, based on what I saw at breakfast each day, it seemed the hotel... more

Stayed in this hotel for 3 days in Jan. 09. While the hotel facilities were very nice, the hotel is located in a run down neighborhood between Myong dong and Tongdaemun market. The room was pretty good, nice bed but there was no bath in the room, only a shower and there was some signs of wear in the room... more

The staff at Best Western Premier Kukdo stood out from all my hotels in Korea, beating even the staff from some 6-star hotels. From the bellboy to the counter staff, most spoke good English (by Korean standards) and often serve with a smile on their faces. This makes you feel at home in a country whereby English is seldom used.... more

This hotel is the best among those we stayed during our trip. It is value for money for its location, access to airport bus and almost brand new furnishings. Although it is only rated 3.5 star in some websites, I thought it deserve easily a 4 star. The hotel is nicely equipped with chic room design and furniture. We had... more
