My experience over 5 nights at this hotel was excellent. The staff were very helpful, the room was clean, free in-room internet worked perfectly and the room was equipped with adaptors. The breakfast had ample selections of different types of cuisine. A metro station is just a few blocks away, so the location was fine. Overall an excellent value and... More

Room is very clean and well maintained. Generally speaking small for US based travelers. But fully furnished. Staff is very responsive and helpful. Must take your time to explain in English you request or pay attention to their feedback since Language is a little barrier. but their is always one person on the Staff that speaks very well. Short walk... More

The hotel is what you'd expect from a Best Western Premier: clean, relatively newly furbished, spacious, sunny and comfortable. It was a warm welcome after flying for nearly 30 hours from Brazil to Seoul. Hotel is close to at least three convenience stores, subway station, cafes and restaurants, as well as the amazing Gangnam shopping district. The Korean Air Airport... More

This is the best Best Western hotel I have ever stayed in. It is modern, clean, comfortable, efficient, with excellent service, an outstanding buffet breakfast, and free wi-fi is available throughout the hotel. I had a 9th floor room at the back (non-street-facing) side of the hotel. It was incredibly peaceful, and had great views across the city towards the... More

I have been to this hotel for numerous times already as I frequently go to Seoul for business trips. The rooms are spacious which is much needed especially if I need to do some work. You've got to love the toilets, they are giving Japan toilets some competition. The towels are soft which is a plus for me. Though they... More

Good hotel, in a convenient location. I caught an airport shuttle bus which stopped right outside the hotel. It is also very close to a metro station. Hotel staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. There are plenty restaurants and cafes in walking distance of the hotel. I would happily stay at this hotel again.

I stayed at the Best Western Premier – Gangnam in Seoul, South Korea on Friday, December 26th, 2014. It was a last minute booking. I think in retrospect I should have checked availability at Latestay.com, but didn’t think of it as Best Western is my go to brand when I am in the States. I am a Gold Crown member... More

If I will remember one thing about this hotel is absolutely the splendid breakfast. Great assortement of continental and oriental choices together with many fresh fruits. Two different blends of very good coffee. The room was clean, nothing special but good. A bit of a poor minibar. If you suffer for a jet lag and need a snack during the... More

Staying in Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam

Neighborhood Profile
Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam
If you thought business and fun couldn’t mix, look no further than urban Gangnam and the nearby neighborhoods. On the surface, Gangnam comes off as a strictly business district with a plethora of high-rise office buildings jutting into the sky and the steady streams of office workers bustling about. But interlaced within are a string of shops, restaurants, bars, and other spots for entertainment. If Myeongdong is the generic meet-up and hangout spot north of the Han River, Gangnam is its answer for those on the south side. As evening comes, Gangnam comes alive with its countless neon lights attracting hordes of office workers, friends, and couples for food, drinks, perhaps a bit of singing at a noraebang, and more drinks. And the smattering of clubs around also draws plenty of folks looking to unwind and show off their moves on the dance floor. On weekends, the crowds gets bigger, the energy buzzes to a seemingly nonstop high, and Gangnam makes it clear why so many call Seoul the city that never sleeps.
