This hotel is not really easy to find, in one of the cross roads of Insadong. The staff is very helpful and speaks English well, which is not so common in Seoul. The room is typical Korean, with separate slippers for room and bathroom. Firm oriental bed, good breakfast with both oriental and western choice. Close to the subway station... More

It's tucked away so you'll have trouble getting a cab driver to know where it is from the airport, but a good idea is to rent a phone at the airport (9 bucks a day) or just get a good SIM so you know where you're going, then grab the bus (6011 airport bus) to Anguk station and walk the... More

This was our first trip to Seoul, it was pouring with rain and the taxi driver couldn't find the hotel. So he ran them and the hotel sent a staff member out to find us. He arrived with umbrellas and helped us. The Hotel Sunbee was very nice, the staff spoke English and were very helpful. Very interesting part of... More

OK, this is a tough one to review. Our room was on the eighth floor (top floor). The room was clean and the air conditioning worked great, we like a cool room. The beds were very firm but that is what we have experienced in about all our hotels in Asia. One drawback is the hot water, it seemed that... More

we stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our trip to south korea. We were looking for a unique location that would give us a good flavor of seoul and was close to some tourist attractions. after researching many options, it seemed hotel sunbee fit the bill for us: good price, fun location, boutique/quaint, and had good reviews... My second time at the Sunbee - excellent value, peaceful and relaxing - and excellent restaurants in the vicinity. I would have no reason to stay elsewhere on my next visit to Seoul. one of the bathroom towels was a bit old and tatty - but overall the standard of maintenance is good.

At the heart of Invading, it is near 2 subway stations Jonggak and Anguk. Tourist spots are within walking distance - Jogyesa Temple, Changdeokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village. Numerous restaurants and shops in the area. Even street performers! Staff was friendly and spoke good english. Will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Location is great, very close to insangdong and Myeongdong. Food everything, but the hotel room is extremely DIRTY! The toilet is disgusting. Smelly, dirty with insects flying. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone of you. Horrible.

This hotel is truly a gem. We booked because of positive reviews on the internet and weren't disappointed. Sunbee was the third hotel we stayed in while visiting Seal. The others were more luxurious and significantly more expensive. This location was the best, located just on the edge of the Insadong district of Seoul. Although mere minutes from the bustling... A fairly comfortable hotel, we were quite happy with the location. A bus from the airport took us straight to Jonggak Station, which is only a short walk away. We were also able to walk to some of the palaces & other interesting areas of the city. While most of the staff were very helpful, there was one member who... More
