I'd stayed for 4 days in "Wonderful room" during May. I'd chosen this hotel since I grew up nearby and had a sentimental reason to visit the old Sheraton Walkerhill next door. This hotel is located a couple of km away from any of the subway / transit system, so unless you have rented a car to brave the Seoul's... more

Stayed 3 nights in a "Wonderful" room this week and it was fantastic. The rooms seem quite like anywhere else.. only they are not. It's all heavily pushed towards design, but there's a lot of substance to it, too. I'd say the room is a bit complicated at first, with heaps of buttons everywhere. I felt like a Flintstone. But... more

Usually I can't afford to stay in the W but found a great rate so of course took advantage. As my expectations were high, I still manged to get pleasantly surprised. The room and the ambiance was great which is what I was expecting but what shocked me was how great the staff was. As a constant business traveler I... more

This hotel is just outstanding. From the Bose sound system in the rooms to the fabulous breakfast, the hotel gives excellent return for the high price. If you are on a honeymoon or a romantic getaway, this would definitely be my first choice in Seoul. more

This is an outstanding hotel. I was told, in fact, that it's a six star hotel. Walkerhill is great and the view was superb. The hotel front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating. Initially there was a misunderstanding regarding the room but it was cleared up immediately. Well, actually, I ended up upgrading the room and I am so glad... more

Who travelled: Couple in early 30's staying here on the wedding night. Check-in: Super friendly and polite. They noticed that we came straight from the wedding so they gave us one of the better rooms (high floor & exceptional view over the Han river) within the room category we ordered. Room: We stayed in a "Fabolous room" and it definately... more

When I checked in, it reminded me a lot of the Clift Hotel in San Francisco. My husband and I have been to W hotels all of the world. The SF and NY W's have more of contemporary, cozy and warm feelings, while the Clift is more modern, angular and trendy. The way the tables in the bar were set... more

Stayed at The W Hotel Seoul about 4 months ago with a friend. She is an SPG member so I had high hopes of an upgrade or at least welcome amenity. Nothing.... I admit, I am a hotelier, and so may be slightly fussy at times, but I thought they would have at least recognised a loyal customer upon check... more

W Walkerhill is a unique property that will either be loved or hated by its patrons depending on their preferred cups of tea. For me, I was in search of a secluded hotel with nice views and posh settings, which the W delivers without competition. From the moment you step into the lobby you are dazzled by the sights and... more
