Booked this hotel as a last minute booking, it was one of the few in the "economical" bracket I could find online that day. Got a good rate on Rates to Go. The reason for the lower price is probably the location, it being in the Jamsil area which is somewhat removed from the main tourist and business areas (although it is reasonably close to Lotte World fun park).
The room was not very big but adequate, and due to its fit-out particularly with some smaller warm-coloured lamps it had quite a homely feel to it. The room was complete, with smallish old-fashioned TV (only time I saw one of these oldies in Korea - the country is full of LCD and plasma TVs) with dozens of mostly Korean channels, a fridge, a working desk, table with two chairs, and space to hang clothes. There was no safe, although I noticed safety deposit boxes at reception. The windows had double glazing, so traffic noise from the busy road outside was virtually inaudible.
