I love the hotel, the room is comfortable, but the aircon system is the old-fashioned system. Food during breakfast buffet can be improved further with more choices. The location of the hotel is not near any subway, so if you are lugging big baggages you will definitely need a cab.

Old hotel centrally located to the hot spots. Within 5 to 10 minutes of Itaewon. Places to eat around there and Starbucks down the street. The bed was like a rock. Front desk spoke some english but when I asked for an iron they gave me a blank look and eventually said no. It's not bad for a few days... More

I have stayed at this hotel from time to time over the last 15 years when traveling to Korea. It has always been a reliable choice when I needed an inexpensive room for one or two nights near Itaewon. The rooms are clean and functional, but a bit dated. The room rates are competitively priced with other hotels of the same... More

A new good hotel adjacent to the world shopping center ITAE WON. The hotel offering a magnificant view od the Han River. The interior is beautiful and well planned layout with dazzling night view of the Han River. It has facilities worthy of a 4/5 stars hotel. THe staff is friendly however sometimes they have difficulty in language translation which is... More

This hotel is old, but the rooms were clean and the service was good. The resturant was a little high priced and not at all accomidating. We ordered fruit and juice at 14.00 each then decided the buffet would have been better, just asked for some more fruit and they charged for a full buffet at 22.00. Charged 5.00 per... More

Korea is a modern civilized country; things are generally clean and functional, even when old. Such is the case with the Hotel Capital, that must have seen glory days in the 60s as it is placed between the US military base (nearby section no longer used by US), and several embassies, just down the hill from the most westernized shopping... There is nothing redeeming about this hotel, unless perhaps you are some kind of history freak who wants to know what life was like in the 1970s. Two tiny bottles of water for a family of four, when I went to ask where the drinking water was, I was told I had to wait tomorrow until the bottles would be... More

Hi, i have stay 3 nights for a business trip, choosing this hotel because of its location, to be honnest, this hotel must have been a very big successful hotel back in 50's / 60's. The hotel is outdated. Very old . Furniture is old, bed is not comfortable, electricity I had the fear that everything will go on fire....... More

Stayed at this hotel for two nights in a twin rooms with my friends. Room was in average condition, needed to be partially improved. Overall was OK. Breakfast was good. Free Wifi in lobby. The best thing was that 7-11 shop is located at the opposite of the hotel, very few steps. In addition, the hotel is located in a... More

Been Stationed in Korea for two years and have been to many Korean hotels that cost far less than the $175.00 I paid for the substandard Hotel Capitol. Sign was turned off so finding the place while driving at night was very difficult. Room was 15X15 foot and did not have even a cushioned chair to relax in. There was... More
