Great place to stay where it is only 3 minutes walk away from the Dongdaemun History & Culture Park subway (Line 2, 4 and 5) station. The closest subway exit is Exit 12 (Lotte FITIN). Airport bus stop is just in front of the hotel, which makes it easier for shopaholic like me with heavy luggage bags. Close to shopping... More

We've been there in March, so there was no chance to turn the AC machine on (lack of remote), so we had to sleep with a window open. Like sleeping inside a heavy industry factory, plus do barking at the top of the opposite building. The room floor was not too clean - when I uprighted my suitcase, the fabric... More

The location is great at Dondaemun area and the transportation is good. It's near to MRT station and the airport bus is just in the front of the hotel. The shopping area at Dondaemun is just in walking distance. It also clost to the landmark: Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP). Some nice restaurants are located in this area. Staying in Uljiro... More

Stayed here for 8 nights and love the location; airport bus stop is just located right outside the hotel! Subway station (Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station) is also just a stone throw away! Least to say, shopping paradise at nearby Dongdaemun is just a couple of streets away. The hotel room is indeed small, but the huge wardrobe was... More

The room I visited is as what it is, a 3-star standard. But if you can ignore the lack of 'ambience and finishing' devoid of a premium luxury hotel, this place is worthy of consideration. This will be a good choice for shopaholics because of its close proximity to the key shopping area (city that never sleeps). It is only... More

Convenience location, very close to Dongdaemun shopping area and the museum. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, with a small open kitchen which is not bad if you would like to do some cooking. But we mainly dine out, or even if you are craving for food in the midnight, quite a few eatery around the hotel so not to... More

Airport bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Convenience store is just around the corner. Dongdaemun and subway station are just within 3 minutes walk. Lots of shops in Dongdaemun and they open until 5:00 in the morning. Another famous tourist area Myeong-dong is just 2 subway stations away. And a local market is within 7 minutes walk,... More

It's clean and comfortable and serves the purpose! The staff are friendly, good location too and with good airport bus links too! quite a few local eating places serving the local which also means it's good for tourist too! The Metro system is just round the corner, very handy!

With the knowledge that this place will be small, we kind of accept the room area upon arrival. However, basic cleanliness is expected but this was not the case for this place. Hairs were seen around the place, in the shower area and even on the bed which is totally unacceptable. The most gross part was discovering a blood stain... More

The location is perfect if you want to buy clothes at Dongdaemun. And you just only need to walk about 5 minutes to get to the subway. Nearby there are a lot of food shop that you don't worry about what to eat at anytime. But the room is a little small, and the hotel doesn't provide breakfast.

Staying in Dongdaemun / Sindangdong

Neighborhood Profile
Dongdaemun / Sindangdong
For shopping enthusiasts, Dongdaemun is a must visit. Enormous shopping centers – stacked with multiple levels of boutique and independent shops – offer the latest in Korean fashion, cosmetics, accessories, and other goods while prices are relatively low. The night shopping (between late night and early morning) is particularly well known here, making Dongdaemun a place where you can literally shop until you drop. If fashion isn't what you’re looking for, the long-running wholesale markets nearby sell everything from cloth to utensils at lower prices. The rows of food stalls that set up at night ensure shoppers get refueled, and foodies will enjoy checking out nearby Sindang-dong’s Tteokbokki Town as well as some non-Korean offerings from the Central Asian Village near Dongdaemun.
