Good hotel, warm and good reception Easily accessible. I liked the toilets very modern and had a room located at a very strategic location. Had variety of food to serve yourself and the serenity of the restaurant is something I liked. Was able to visit the city and the guide from the hotel was helpful. Improvements to include the room... I was staying here for short winter trip with friends. I stayed in 10th floor. The view from my room was nice. I loved the breakfast although the restaurant is a bit small. But overall, this is a good hotel with affordable price considering its location Pros : - good location, near mrt - very fast wifi - good breakfast... More

I booked since i was only after it's location. Was surprised it wasn't too bad at all. 4.5* hotel for the price of 5* , in a city with many of good options isn't the best deal in town, but reasonable. Nothing to write home about.

Nice hotel and its has a centralized heater :-), i love the restroom <3. The food (buffet) was awesome. Sinnoyeon the nearest subway and its just a walking distance from the hotel. There's a lot of convenient store nearby the hotel.

Yes the staff is very friendly and helpful. But the room service has to be improved. They do not replace the soap, shampoo although it is over. There is not much shopping around the area. The room is very old and some plug tops, air conditioning were not working properly. Also I did not have the safely vault although my... More

I stayed at this hotel in the mid 90's and you know what? It's same rooms but the outside was remodeled. This is more of the touristy Japanese tour trap but not bad for the price compared to others in the area and Itaewon as well. Old style rooms like when Kim Gun Mo was popular. Not that bad though.... Dear friends, i want to recommend you to look for another hotel. I could not say that this hotel is complete disaster, but i am sure you can find much better one. People who work there are nice, but the hotel is not. Everything surrounding is cheap and bad quality. I was reading here that this hotel was renovated but... More

Excellent hotel in the city. Close enough to subway links to get around and a short walk to the kukkiwon. I was there on a training break so this was great as I could go to the kukkiwon and to local gyms to train. The food was great the breakfast in particular was outstanding. For dinners though I would recommend... More

This hotel is good value for money and generally cheaper than others of a similar standard in the same road. It takes about 10 minutes uphill from the Sinnonhyeon metro station exit 4. Near to exit 4 is also Bongeunsa-ro 4-gil where if you want to get away from hotel food you can find plenty of variety mostly Korean style... More

This hotel was picked for me by my Korean business associate. My review title says it all for me. I asked for a room with a king-size bed. They gave me a tiny room with a a full-size bed. The carpets were filthy. Although my room was on a non-smoking floor, other folks were smoking in their rooms on that... More

Staying in Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam

Neighborhood Profile
Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam
If you thought business and fun couldn’t mix, look no further than urban Gangnam and the nearby neighborhoods. On the surface, Gangnam comes off as a strictly business district with a plethora of high-rise office buildings jutting into the sky and the steady streams of office workers bustling about. But interlaced within are a string of shops, restaurants, bars, and other spots for entertainment. If Myeongdong is the generic meet-up and hangout spot north of the Han River, Gangnam is its answer for those on the south side. As evening comes, Gangnam comes alive with its countless neon lights attracting hordes of office workers, friends, and couples for food, drinks, perhaps a bit of singing at a noraebang, and more drinks. And the smattering of clubs around also draws plenty of folks looking to unwind and show off their moves on the dance floor. On weekends, the crowds gets bigger, the energy buzzes to a seemingly nonstop high, and Gangnam makes it clear why so many call Seoul the city that never sleeps.
